Nantmawr Quarry Saturday Jan 27TH, 2018

“WOR Events are delighted to announce a new venture and project that will take place at the World famous Nantmawr Quarry in less than 3 weeks’ time on Saturday 27TH January as part of the MICHELIN Tough One Extreme Enduro weekend.

E- Bike Mtb’s are now becoming very popular indeed and a lot of Enduro and off-road Motorcyclists are crossing over and have both machines in their garages and stables. The MTB concept with the pedal assist function is highly addictive and there truly are some superb examples out there. Recognising this, and as always having a finger on the pulse, WOR are delighted to announce a 1-hour E-bike challenge around a hard packed based, twisty trail based loop in the Nantmawr Quarry on the Saturday Morning before the Tough One.

“KINGUD” are local to WOR HQ, and are a company that have deep roots in supporting the MTB world and WOR are simply delighted that they have come on board as the Title Partners for this innovative new project/event. KINGUD make and supply an entire range of biodegradable cleaning and maintenance products for the Downhill and Enduro MTB scene and will be onsite showing products and giving out special discount codes and gifts along with supplying the competitors and winners of the E-Bike challenge prizes and goodies.

The KINGUD E-BIKE Challenge will start at 9am and run for 1 hr …It will cater for all abilities and ages of folk riding an E-Bike … The course will be totally achievable and sensible for the pedal assisted bikes and will throw in some climbs, drop offs, rocky paths and even a grass field section into the mix with a lap of approx 3 k. It’s not a race, although first rider over the line with the most laps will be the KINGUD WINNER of the challenge...It’s simply a test of how many times the riders can complete the course in the allotted time.

The emphasis is on fun and building more of the same events for the future.

The entries are simple to enter simply email  and quote “e-bike entry 27 jan” it costs £20 to enter and hopefully the event will have around 20-30 riders.
