Dawn to Dusk

Dawn to Dusk 2017
Riding a 24 hour offroad race is a crazy idea but to ride a 990 KTM like Billy Bowman you must have someone to care for you and cut up your dinner when you get home. The 2017 Dawn to Dusk Weekend got off great start with a 2 hour Youth Race. Alfie Webb was the winner, Chris Bailey was runner up and John Stanley was 3rd. Organiser Nick Plumb flagged the 24 hour racers away with a Le Mans start at 7.00pm just as the sun set. The warm evening drew the spectators to linger on the edge of the arena and follow the string twinkling lights as they weaved their way through the trees below a new moon. Team Big Blunt were the early leaders ahead of Paul Clarke and Rich Heslop (Shakespeare Bandits).. Report
