Gallas second win

Report Denis Gunther

A full field of riders and many spectators made a bee line for Neuhaus-Schierschnitz - a new hard-enduro venue. The riders of HardEnduroSeries Germany had little time to recover. After the demanding prelude last week in Crimmitschau, this time again all the forces were in demand. With a new mode, the series organizers want that there are changing racing variants, all came again at your expense. First, a prologue was on the program, where after the result of last week was started.

A short lap sorted the pilots in the group races. At first, Kenny Lötzsch took the lead with a fabulous time. The Drebacher has recovered from his injury last week and is now even more motivated to annoy the stars at the top.

But in the prologue he did not get to the times that literally tumbled over. Leon Hentschel set the next best time and was curious to see how much of his time can still be undercut. The attack by Kevin Gallas blew away this time, however. The Dominator last week was only third and had even beaten Robert Scharl.

With their starting positions, the drivers were divided into the group races. The mission of the riders was to finish in the Top10 to enter the final. After every 60 minutes, the favorites at the top placed here. Especially Kevin Gallas made it exciting again. A broken brake cost him many seconds, until he could start a catch-up on the hitherto leading Tobias Wittek had already passed 45 minutes. Only in the last round he was able to prevail against Wittek. The all-important final was driven over 45 minutes or 10 laps. In addition to a mud hole further challenging passages were added. Some felt that the track was even more demanding than last week in Crimmitschau. Gallas made short work this time. He set pace right at the beginning and immediately took over the lead which was never endangered either.

The problems had now Leon Hentschel who had dropped out of the Top5, because he lost too much time in a mud hole. His catching up ended in third place behind Gallas and a flawless driving Robert Scharl. Fourth was Kenny Lötzsch who has now brought the first points after his injury.

The MC Isolator Neuhaus-Schierschnitz has done a top job and has set a challenging but also liquid route. The cooperation with the production organization was also
perfect.

The HESG is now making a small summer break before it will be exciting again in the
third race.
