RANSON RACING ENDURO TEAM
2013 Round Up

The Ranson Racing Enduro Team was formed by Paul Ranson at the beginning of the 2013 season to help young riders become established in the sport. At the end of the 2013 season good progress has been made with some strong results and a good display of silverware.

In the Eastern Centre Clubman Enduro Championship David Stevens finished in third place, Ross Taylor finished 5th after a strong finish to the year, and Tom Sargent finished in 6th place.

The Bowers Motorcycles Two Man Championship Clubman series was won by Tom Sargent and Ross Taylor with a strong season finishing all rounds in the top 3 places. David & Martin Stevens completed a clean sweep for the team with second place. Team rider Adam Ranson, riding with Mark Chapman took 2nd place in the Championship class after missing two rounds due to other race commitments. The Lincolnshire Enduro Championship four stroke class was won by Adam Ranson for the second year running, with a dominant display of five individual round wins.

Tom Sargent made his debut in the Welsh 2 Day Enduro and did well to finish with no time penalties and a solid mid field placing in E2 Clubman. He is already looking forward to improving on this in 2014. The season was rounded off by the British Enduro Championship event run by the Diss club in Thetford Forest where Martin & David Stevens both had strong points scoring rides in the Clubman class.

Looking ahead to 2014 the team will concentrate largely on East Anglian events, and will also include the Welsh 2 Day and selected British Enduro Championship rounds. The team will support seven riders in 2014: Adam Ranson 450 TRM Honda; David Stevens 250 Kawasaki; Ross Taylor 250 Honda; Tom Sargent 450 Suzuki; Martin Stevens 250 Kawasaki; Rob Aldridge 250 Kawasaki; and Ed Pooley 250 Kawasaki.

The team would like to thank Putoline Lubricants, MBO and all other supporters for their help, and look forward to a successful 2014.
