SMCC launch Championship Manxduro - 2/3rd August

A Championship level event

In 2014 the Isle of Man 2-day Enduro – the Manxduro – will form part of the NEEC Championship series for the first time. The timecard event is anticipating over 150 riders from the island and further afield. The Club hopes to attract some of the biggest names in this discipline including our own David Knight.

The most unique off-road event of the year

Home of legendary World-Championship off-road riders - David Knight, Danny and Jamie McCanney – and host to the ISDE on many occasions, only the Isle of Man can claim such a unique heritage.

Setting new standards for exceptional competition 

The Southern MCC will ensure this event becomes the flagship enduro event of the Islands calendar – supporting our identity as the World Capital of Motorcycling. With a dedicated Club sub-committee taking care of every detail, the event will provide a professional riding experience on a par with other outstanding stalwarts such as the BSEC and BEC series and the Welsh- Two day enduro on the UK.

Go where other riders cannot reach 

With much land secured exclusively for this event, the course will take competitors over the islands most challenging, yet breathtaking scenery over 2-days. “It is essential that this event is worthy of the Islands off-road history especially it’s association with the ISDE and our World class riders of today such as Jamie, David and Danny. Nowhere else in the UK can competitors be part of such a unique combination of elements and have such an outstanding experience.” Says Club Chairman, Nigel Beaumont.

An early bird discount is available to all riders who enter before April 31st.

The Southern MCC will welcome competitors from Friday 1st August at Carnagrie, with refreshments and entertainment from the islands other great legend – the Purple Helmets. Between scrutineering and sign-on, riders can pit their tyre-changing wits against the IOM 2013 ISDE team. Classes: Championship; Expert; Over 40; Clubman, Sportsman; Over 50
