New Perkins Slade Hare & Hounds
Championship After careful consideration and lots of road miles driving to all ROR club venues, the RideoffroadUK organisation have delayed the start of the new look Perkins Slade Championship for one week. This means Round 1 will now take place on February 16th at the awesome Driffield Training area in East Yorkshire. As everyone is aware, even well drained land is at saturation point due to the freakish wet weather the UK is experiencing. Not wanting to put on a sub standard event, Wayne & Sonya Braybrook know that Driffield has everything needed to cope with all weather conditions including hard standing tarmac paddock areas. So a new look Driffield awaits on Feb 16th, a new paddock and start area will be located deeper into the 650 acre venue, a whole new look and feel to the track means regular "Driff" riders will be pleasantly surprised to see the new course layout. Three races in the day starting with Youth riders at 8.30am, Adult Sportsman, Sportsman Vets, Beginners, Over50 and Ladies will have their own event starting at 10.30am. Then after swift course alterations making things a bit tougher, it will be the turn of the Expert, Over40 and Clubman riders to fight it out for top spots.
