ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 The Team Beta Enduro Factory celebrates the double victory of Giacomo Redondi and the third place of Johnny Aubert on the second day. The Greek town of Kalambaka hosted the third round of the 2014 Enduro World Championship, welcoming the crowded paddock in a very picturesque location. The three special stages were concentrated in one large area and the spectators can enjoy all the actions of the race surrounded by the astonishing monasteries of Meteora. In the Enduro Junior class, Giacomo Redondi dominated the weekend, winning both day 1 and day 2 and reopening the battle to the championship title against another Beta rider Danny McCanney (Team Beta Boano Costa Ligure). Even though Giacomo recently fractured his right wrist, he was in great physical conditions and he found a perfect riding pace on his Beta RR 250 2-strokes, winning 9 stages out of 12. It has been a great weekend also for our French rider Johnny Aubert and the Beta RR 450 4-strokes, in the E2 class, which won the Super Test on Friday, setting the same time as Alex Salvini. On Saturday he was leading the race for the entire day, but unfortunately in the last lap he fell off the bike and set a fourth place. Johnny had a great speed and he won two cross stages. The next day, Johnny found a perfect riding pace, setting great times and finishing third on the podium. It has been an unlucky weekend for Portuguese rider Luis Correia, Beta RR 300 2-strokes, even if he struggled with all of his strength to get on the podium in the E3 class, he made little mistakes that kept him far from the top places. His speed was impressive and he won 3 stages. His race has been positive as he finished fourth in day 1 and fifth in day 2, always in the top five, certainly the commitment and determination that Luis is putting in the races will be soon rewarded.
