Unfortunately Tom Beckett passed away whilst competing in his second heat at our event at Matterley on Sunday 1st March. The emergency crews thought that he had probably passed away before he even hit the ground. This was a tragic thing to have happened the only conciliation being that he died competing in the sport he loved and among family and friends.

We would like to thank everybody who came to assist Tom at the trackside. The first aiders who were first on the scene, John Williams from our event ambulance crew, the doctor who was one of the riders that stopped, the NHS crews and the support from everybody on the day.

Everyone at Track n Trail would like to offer their condolences to Tom’s family and friends. We know he will be hugely missed by everyone in the motorcycle world.
