British Enduro Championship and Dirtbike Action head to Graythwaite Estate on May 28th/ 29th

Since the unforeseen cancellation of the 28th and 29th May rounds of the ACU British Enduro Championship, the Trials and Enduro Committee have looked to secure a replacement venue and organiser for the event.

Step forward Dirtbike Action. Negotiations had already taken place between Dirtbike Action and Graythwaite Estate to run an event in the future, so when the opportunity to run a Round of the British Enduro Championship arose, it was only natural that Dirtbike Action pick the cudgel up on this one and run the BEC round on the original date of 28th/29th May in Cumbria.

Dirtbike Action have secure access to the estate land with a green field start area adjacent to Lake Windermere plus greater access to the 5,000 acres estate land and they have already enlisted the vital local knowledge of the estate in the form of Anthony Crowe who they will be working closely with to ensure a successful event.

John Collins, Chairman of the Trials & Enduro Committee said “We thank Dirtbike Action for stepping in to organise the second round of the BEC. To lose any round of any championship is disappointing but because of issues with Land Access through no fault of Raw Enduro, it looked as though we had lost this. We now have all rounds in place for a full British Enduro Championship Series”.
