Brad Williams Wins Again
At CTR Summer Series Championship Round 2 at Fan Farm Llandovery Mid Wales.

Rapidly improving youngster Brad Williams won another round of CTR Events Summer Series Championship in impressive controlled and smooth fashion but he didn't have it all his own way with early pressure from his fellow CTR competitors around the 6.2 mile Enduro cross country loop with a complete mix of Farm tracks, cambered woodland trails, Steep descents, wet boggy ruts, long uphill blasts and manmade obstacles - all set out in the heart of beautiful Wales.

At the drop of the flag CTR released the 1st group the Elite and Experts with Mathew Wimpy Jones grabbing the holeshot pushed by Rhys Davies and Danny Morris with Kalem Hicks getting the Elite holeshot from Tim Forman and Brad Williams, Next let loose the Vet Experts with Ryan Leary getting the holeshot from Paul Biggs and Grant Churchward, Next unleashed the Clubman with a few crashes on the 1st corner it was Andy Card with the holeshot from Lister Morris and Sam Peake, Next to set off the Over 50's and Vet Clubman with Phil George getting the Overs holeshot and Andy Taylor getting the Vet Clubman holeshot with the rest of the pack chasing them away CTR dropped the flag for the most entertaining start of the day the Novice class with all sorts of fun and games on the 1st few corners as CJay Wimpy Jones gets the holeshot the rest battled it out and it was Kieran Davies, Harrison Crumb and Jonathan Williams that got through the carnage to push CJay along.

At lap scoring on lap 1 it was early leader Ashley Greedy to appear in the lead followed by Rhys Davies, Kalem Hicks and Brad Williams in 4th, Grant Churchward led the Vet Experts around with Sean O'Neill snapping at his tail and Ryan Leary just behind, the next class leader around the lap was 1st corner crasher Joe Parfitt with Andy Card 2nd and Lister Morris, Ady Stagg led the Vet Clubman around Dylan Davies and Andy Taylor a few bikes behind, CJay Jones led the Novice class around with Jake Robinson not too far behind and Grant Maguire a few bikes behind, the next class leader around the 1st lap was Over 50's CTR racer Phil George chased closely by Rob Murfin and Mark Saunders.

Mid Race and pit stops Ashley Greedy pulled in for fuel 1st as hard charging Brad Williams came through lap scoring and passed Greedy in the pits and on the next lap Ashley Greedy had to retire from the race with a damaged bike, Kalem Hicks and Tim Forman were having a great battle between them for 2nd and with Forman pushing hard and with a big fuel tank managed his way past Hicks to 2nd, As Brad Williams was now in a comfortable lead he could relax and pull away giving him a chance at an extra lap.

At the chequered flag it was Brad Williams with the overall win from Tim Forman 2nd and Kalem Hicks3rd, Rhys Davies takes the Expert win from Mathew Jones 2nd and Jamie Llewellyn 3rd, Grant Churchward won the Vet Experts from Sean O'Neill 2nd and Paul Hicks 3rd, Jake Hurley won the Clubman class from Sam Peake 2nd and Nikki Jones 3rd, Andy Taylor won the Vet Clubman from Dylan Davies 2nd and Neil Price 3rd, Phil George won the Over 50's from Rob Murfin 2nd and Mark Saunders 3rd, CJay Jones won the Novice class from Titus Blackwell 2nd and Steve Nicholas 3rd, Everyone really enjoyed the race and was glad to see the chequered flag well done to all involved in a great event, Thanks to everyone involved see you all at the next CTR Event SSC RD3 At Trecastle LD3 8RD on the 14th & 15th May thanks again to All CTR Team, The medical team, 101 Catering, Marshals and a Big Thank you to the land owner and Glyn for all your help and support CTR.
