 Alberto
Lessmann
(1974-2016) Spanish sports photographer Alberto Lessmann has died, He was a master at capturing light and speed. His images recreated the heroism of motorsport by shooting close to the action and seizing the fleeting moment. Alberto died of a heart attack while cycling in the mountains near Madrid. This photograph of Alfredo Gomez is one of my favourite Lessmann images and appropriately Alfredo dedicated his Minas Riders win to Alberto.
