29th May Once again bad weather hampered the Italian Enduro Championship as heavy rain disrupted the sixth round at Firenzuola on Sunday, May 29th. The organizers were forced to shorten the second lap and also make changes to the tests as the going became very slippery. Alex Salvini (Beta) was the overall winner. Giacomo Redondi (Honda Redmoto) was the runner up and winner of the Junior category. Redondi also took the overall lead in the standings. Manuel Monni slipped into third place due to some mistakes in the treacherous conditions. Rudy Moroni (KTM Farioli) made his share of mistakes but he still finished third and won the best E1.
The other winners were Thomas Oldrati (Husqvarna BBM) in E3, Johnny Aubert (Beta Motor) in the Foreigners and Matteo Pavoni (KTM) in Youth. In club teams wins Motoclub Sebino, while among the teams on the highest step of the podium Team Osellini Husqvarna. Challenging and exciting as always the Xtreme Test saw Gianluca Martini set the fastest time and win the X-CUP-Maxxis Honda Redmoto, while in the Trofeo Fiat Professional Six Days reserved for the Italian Cup was won by Ivan Boezi. The Lazio rider also won the Senior category, while Alberto Capoferri, Igor Sonzogni and Fabio Lenzi are awarded respectively Cadet, Junior and Major classes.
