Fast Eddy puts bums on seats at H2O

Fast Eddy Racing practice days at the fabulous H2O venue near Oswestry have really taken off in a big way.

Paul Edmondson has applied his extensive organisational skills, gained from years of event planning, to practice days and this has proved to be a great success. Nothing is overlooked. Medical cover is a priority (just in case) and plenty of marshals patrol the courses throughout the day.

There is onsite catering, full toilet facilities, mechanic George from STB is there to keep everyone up and running and resident photographers Foto-x provide a cracking service with galleries uploaded on the foto-x.co.uk website by Sunday evening.

With three courses available riders are spoilt for choice. There is a separate kids course, which is growing in popularity every time there is a practice event on at the venue, plus a choice of two courses for adult riders.

The extensive MX course is in itself very impressive but has an extra optional loop down into the valley that divides the venue, making it one of the longest MX practice laps in the country.

In addition to the MX track is the Enduro loop, which weaves through the steeply sloped woodland and along streams and gives many new riders their first taste of proper Enduro terrain.

The kids course is already the place where many youngsters enjoyed the thrill of off-road riding for the first time. Parking is close to the kids track so parents can keep an eye on their offspring at all times.

The venue is massive and ride-able for all abilities and as ever with Fast Eddy layouts, safe. The size of the venue ensures there are no 'on-track' traffic problems and never seems crowded, no matter how many riders are out enjoying themselves.

The courses are open throughout the day from 10am to 3.30pm with no sessions, just turn up and ride, all for a very affordable £25.

H2O is becoming extremely popular. The venue is terrific, the day is very well run and the price is spot on for a full day of top-notch practice. Next practice day is Sunday June 19th.
