Second Enduro Grand Prix victory for Loïc Larrieu The series continues well for Loïc Larrieu with this weekend's Enduro Grand Prix of Utaly, The Yamaha Racing Outsiders rider once again achieved an excellent performance aboard his WR450-F . Although, on the first day Loïc was unlucky on the last lap to drop off the podium), it encouraged him to up his game on day 2, Loïc was able to increase the pace as the day went on to get a win in the E2 class and a third in the Enduro GP. An excellent result in the penultimate Grand Prix of the season, he took a comfortable third place on the provisional E2 standings before the final round. For Cris Guerrero the weekend was complicated. Sixth in E2 on the first day, the Spaniard injured his knee and hand folowing a fall, Cris had to be content to finish the day to save points. He now has 6 weeks to recover before the Grand Prix of France.
Loic Larrieu : " I'm pretty happy with my weekend, especially in the second round. On Saturday I had the speed but the pace of the race was the fastest we have encountered since the beginning of the season.. The differences were small between us and I managed to stay in contact to finish fourth. The next day I did not want to let the others get away and I really set the pace from the start. This gave me a good momentum and I managed to keep the speed to the finish without making mistakes. I'm really happy with this victory in E2 but also with third place in Enduro GP! Thanks to all the staff for the great job . " Cris Guerrero : " This weekend will not be my best memory of the season. On Saturday I made good time in certain timed sectors. On Sunday I had a hell of a time. Despite all my motivation, I crashed and damaged my broken finger and took a big hit on my knee. I had to bite the bullet to end the day. I hope to be 100% recovered for the final in France. " Marc Bourgeois takes stock after this Grand Prix: " As often in Italy our riders were treated to a wonderful Grand Prix and there were lots of spectators. I think everyone has learned to appreciate this event. From a sporting point of view I am very happy and disappointed. Cris - I think - has gained speed in the last three Grand Prixs. His fall really penalized him and I think if he is given he will a finish. Going back to Loïc I am very happy. Both riders are changing on a high performance and versatile bike, I think this season will be an excellent springboard for next season. "
