2017 BRITISH ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP

The ACU Trials & Enduro Committee will shortly be compiling the 2017 British Enduro Championship calendar.

We have also started to form a Working Group of experienced Enduro enthusiasts to assist with the formation of the calendar and selection of rounds etc.

In the past there have been comments that some organisers were not aware of the application process to run a BEC or were not invited etc and therefore this initial invitation has been very widely circulated and while it is accepted that it maybe of no relevance to many, the initial awareness of application will have been achieved.

2017 Dates: At present the FIM World Championship and FIM European Enduro Championship are not 100% confirmed and although imminent, make it difficult to allocate British dates.

However, the next step is to ask for an “Expression of Interest” from organisers who are considering applying for a BEC round.
BEC rounds are normally held over the two days of a weekend, although one day rounds are also considered.

If you are considering applying for a BEC round in 2017 we ask you to send this expression of interest by September 30th to:
yvonne@acu.org.uk    Please cc: mary@acu.org.uk

It is fully understood that when available dates are announced these, and many other factors such as land availability etc may make it impossible to proceed, so any initial response is in no way binding.

It will also enable us to reduce future circulation asking for specific a dates and details to just those interested, and with whom the T & E and Working Group can correspond and invite definite applications.

Regards

ACU Trials & Enduro Committee
