Dawn to Dusk Going the Distance for 15 Years

27th & 28th August Bank Holiday 2016

Now in its 15th year, Dawn to Dusk Enduro at Walters Arena in South Wales proved again why it is one of the best events on the Enduro calendar. Run by Dakar veteran, Nick Plumb along with Touratech UK, the four main races proved as popular as ever with more entries in the 24hr race than ever before.

Entries from as far afield as the Netherlands and every corner of the UK swelled numbers to beyond 400 riders. We even had our first one-armed rider,

Daniel Hallen compete in the 6hr race, which goes to prove that Dawn to Dusk caters to any rider’s ability.

The increase in the Sportsman and Clubman classes continues to attract fresh riders into this sport and each year Dawn to Dusk has seen riders progress through the four races to the ultimate challenge of 24hrs. Starting at 7pm on Saturday and riding until 7pm on Sunday, the 7 mile night course which opens up at 6am to the full 15 mile course, tests even the most experienced rider, whether riding solo or part of a 2 or 3 man team. This year we included 7 optional extreme sections which provided fantastic entertainment for over 2000 spectators.

Team Tiswas were overall winners of the 24hr race with a record 51 laps in a record time of 24hrs and 8 minutes.

So whether you are just breaking into the sport like many new riders did in our 6hr race or looking to step it up and be part of the 24hr race, entries for 2017 have already opened with early bird savings being available.

We hope to see you at next year’s event and in the meantime we’re gearing up for Valleys Xtreme on the 3rd and 4th December 2016 for what promises to be the hardest Enduro event of the year.
