NAMBOTIN Remains at KTM!
Rumours have been circulating since July, and it is now official;
Christophe NAMBOTIN (F) has re-signed for KTM with a one-year contract.
Plagued by injuries (knee, shoulder) throughout the season and out of a
contract at KTM, Christophe NAMBOTIN was never-the-less always going to be
one of the most sought-after riders in the paddock for 2017. Moreover, some
big teams like Yamaha had already expressed their interest in the triple
World Champion...
But the Austrian brand and Fabio FARIOLI were quick to offer a new
one-year contract to the Frenchman, which he signed just days before the AMV
Grand Prix of France.
The brand should have a strong line-up once again with young star Nathan
WATSON (UK) and perhaps Taylor ROBERT (USA), should he decide to stay.
It remains to be seen exactly how KTM's 2017 squad will look, but all
will be revealed in the coming months with a fourth name set to be announced
in the Farioli team...
It's difficult to say which category and which bike 'Nambot' will choose
to run next season, even though many people would like to see him on the KTM
300 EXC with which he won two of his three World titles. In any case, the
Frenchman, if he is back to 100% fitness, is clearly a favorite whether in
EnduroGP or Enduro 2...
