Raw Enduro Play and Race Day Winter Series dates Confirmed.

RAW Enduro start their 2016 Winter Series events program when they roll into the market town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire on Sunday December 11th. Originally the date was secured for a HARD Enduro, however due to circumstances beyond the clubs control the original planned event has had to be cancelled. Not an organisation to simply sit back and do nothing, event Director Wayne Braybrook quickly rallied the troops to make sure the clubs Carlton Grange venue was prepared ready to run a Winter Play & Race fixture on the same date.

Carlton Grange is a superb traditional woodland Enduro course, the ground which has a good solid base offers an all weather ride. The woodland will be fully graded so it’s in great shape ready for riders to have one last ride out before the festive season kicks in.

First on track Sunday morning at 8.30am are the youth classes who will get 30 minutes practice, then at 9:15am the Youth 1 Hour race will be flagged away. After that at 10:30 All adults will get a one hour practice session followed at 11:45 by a 1.5 Hour race.

The paddock is situated half a mile above Carlton village, accessed opposite the fuel station on the road out of Helmsley towards Pickering. All competitors PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY through the village and respect the residents, they are very cooperative and as such we should respect the area they live in.

ALL Litter MUST be taken home, please don’t just drop it on the ground in the paddock or as you leave the area.

To get entered riders can send a text to 07802 572023. Information needed is NAME, CLASS, RACE NUMBER, AND LICENCE NUMBER or Day licence is available at a cost of £5.

2017 RAW club membership subscriptions can be taken on the day by event staff.
