RAW Enduro are delighted to confirm details for the
2017 season of racing.
NEW for 2017 are 4 venues, this will give event director Wayne Braybrook
yet another blank canvass to work with. Wayne has vast amounts of experience
when it comes to plotting and marking the perfect track for competition or
Leisure riding. Being a rider himself he uses his knowledge to imagine how
it would "feel" to ride the track himself, the end result is that
on most occasions RAW customers get the very best experience from RAW
Events.
RAW4 New Quad Enduro Series, Wayne will be using experienced Quad riders
to assist when it comes to planning and marking the RAW4 Quad courses,
running on Saturday afternoons over 5 selected race weekends, the quads will
be on track after the Solo Pay & Play riders have finished their 4 hour
open practice session.
The Rock Oil Championship now in its second year will once again set the
bar on its highest level, a mix of old favourite venues, some brand new
virgin venues, and a couple of (new to RAW) well known venues will all form
part of what has become the premier events series in the North of England.
New for 2017 is the RAW Enduro Youth Academy, this brand new venture will
see 4 young riders running on a very professional academy platform, this
will set them on the correct track for a career in Enduro. With unrivalled
industry support, the Academy riders have already had one coaching session
and have received all the kit and equipment for the season ahead. Saul Hirst
And Jack Winn will head up the Sportsman Class, Richard Moorhouse will be
the sole Youth rider, whilst Dominic Richardson will head up the Clubman
Class. Zac Sherwin will be representing RAW in the Expert ranks as he takes
his new Colin Appleyard supported FX 350 Husqvarna to the sharp end of
racing in 2017.
