Jack Edmondson to race with Husqvarna Motorcycles in
2017
With a stellar 2016 Jack Edmondson has made many people take note of the
talent and skill that this youngster possesses. By winning 8 days straight
of the EnduroGP World Championships it meant that Edmondson clinched the 125
Youth World Championship title even before the final round was contended.
Husqvarna Motorcycles UK followed the speed and consistency of the young
Brit’s performances throughout 2016 and have now taken the decision to
support the reigning Youth World Champion for the 2017 season.
Husqvarna Motorcycles UK Brand manager; David Edwards said: “We are
extremely happy to have Jack on-board for the coming season, we have been
impressed with his level of dedication and professionalism and look forward
to building a successful relationship with the young and talented Brit.”
Jack will be running as a Husqvarna Motorcycles UK privateer in
association with Fast Eddy Racing which will give him the freedom and
support to contend the events and championships that he has decided for the
’17 season;
- British Enduro Championships
- British Sprint Enduro Championship
- Welsh 2 Day Enduro
- GNCC XC3 Pro Class - USA
Although it is not finalized at this time we understand that Jack intends
to compete on an FE 250 for all Enduro Championships and on a TX 125 for the
GNCC races in the US which he feels will suit him better due to the nature
of the events.
