The 2017 Rock Oil XC Championship begins.

The 2017 Rock Oil XC Championship kicks off on March 12th at Bicton Farm near Shrewsbury, SY3 8EU.

This highly popular series, organised by Fast Eddy Racing, has grown in stature over the years and is one of the most well established series on the XC circuit.

The opening round at Bicton is also the Joe Edge Memorial race in tribute to a young rider who remains in our memories.

The format for the series remains the same, three races starting with a Youth race followed by two adult races although this does depend on conditions and entry numbers, which can be unpredictable early in the season.

Over the winter period Bicton has received a facelift with much of the course being regarded and the woodland section especially being the focus of attention. The whole venue has been prepped ready for this opening round and with no practice day beforehand the course will be in perfect shape.

Entries are now open for this event and you can secure your place by calling 01543 370070 or 07889 924560 or by emailing fasteddyracing@hotm
