WOR Events have a very busy month of May coming up with 3 weekends of top notch off road Enduro action taking place at 3 superb venues. When it comes to Venues, no one can quite match the resources of the Wirral Off Road, With over 25 venues at their disposal it is always certain that the riders and racers will be faced with a quality, well prepped and well thought out track for their enjoyment. WOR’s May certainly does offer these attributes with a veritable feast of
variety and Enduro challenges. A simply stunning track that takes riders to the top of the world (or so it feels!) with massive 12-14 lap of open welsh mountainside Enduro terrain. Big hills, bog sections, farm tracks, fern strewn banks and some rolling woodlands are all on the menu here. Once a rider has visited this venue it is always a tick to go back and WOR have fine tuned the course over the last few tears to make sure and big stones that used to throw a surprise up have been taken out of the equation. The Saturday 13th MAY at Clatter is from 9am till 2pm, An Enduro Playday special for all solo riders. This is then followed by the 3rd round of the Quads National Hare Scrambles at 2.30pm for a 2.5hr race. Sunday 14th is the WOR ‘s SCE Timecard Enduro that is set to be a cracker (if it gets enough entries to run in that format!!) . This will have a brilliant loop and interesting special test in the mix. If the Timecard does not go ahead then a big lap Hare Scramble will replace the format and run as a Wildcard in the solo National Hare Scrambles instead, but WOR are optimistic that the Timnecard should run. MAY 20/21st – FIRBANK, LAKE DISTRICT, CUMBRIA The club return to their favourite most Northern Venue with a bang, The track will be approx. 5 miles a lap and it has recently been graded and re- prepped. The open fellside mountain track is always rideable and fun and again WOR have fine-tuned the track design over the last few years to suit and be enjoyed by all riders. Saturday at Firbank is an Enduro Playday Special from 10am till 4pm… Sunday is a 2.5hr Open Hare Scrambles Enduro for all solo riders . MAY 27/28th Final event of the month is taking place at the majestic and ever so slightly regal, Llwyn Ynn Hall near the market town of Ruthin in North Wales. The track is set in the parklands and gardens of an old fallen mansion and is certainly one of the clubs most beautiful settings for an Enduro event. The woods are rocky, technical and demanding, the grass fields are flowing
fast and big fun with great spectator and camping veiws. Sunday 28th is Round 3 of the NATIONAL HARE SCRAMBLES for solos taking place from 11am till 1:30pm with a combined 2hr and 2.5hr race depending on class. All entries are open now at www.worevents.com/events or by texting/calling 07803698061 All are welcome to ride at WOR and MAY has a little bit of something for Everyone.”
