Strong Finnish Team announced for 2017 ISDE

The Finnish Motorcycling Federation (SML) have officially announced their World Trophy team for the 2017 International Six Days in Brive France.

The Finns last won the World Trophy in 2011 on home ground in the region of Kotka-Hamina with a team that consisted of Eero Remes, Matti Seistola, Juha Salminen, Jari Mattila, Valtteri Salonen and Marko Tarkkala.

This year Eero Remes and Matti Seistola return with Henric Stigell and Antti Hellsten to plant the blue cross on top of the World Trophy podium in Brive.

2016 E1 World Champion Remes is currently 2nd in the provisional EnduroGP E2 standings. For Matti Seistola Brive will be a last hurrah after a glittering career as he will be retiring this year. Antti Hellsten and Henric Stigell complete the Trophy team.

Eemil Pohjola and Antti Hänninen have been named for the under 23 team. The third member will be announced in the near future.

As well as the Trophy and Junior teams Finland will be fielding a Women's team and 5 Club teams.
