No Snow at Hawkstone Alex Snow withdraws from Hawkstone Enduro GP due to injury Alex Snow has made the tough call to withdraw from this weekends home Enduro GP at Hawkstone Park after suffering from tendonitis in with right wrist, and injury that seems to have spread through the Enduro paddock this year for several riders. After finding the last 3 weeks very difficult to training with out flaring up the injury, Snow and the Buildbase Honda Racing team decided it was the right decision to make after seeing the doctor on Monday of this week to diagnose the problem. "This was such a hard decision to make as I've been looking forward to this race for so long. The wrist has been getting progressively worse over the past few weeks and with out any considerable time off the bike it's just not improving. With the GNCC style event, lasting 3 hours around Hawkstone is going to be a big ask with how it currently feels. I'm not willing to race unless I can put a 100% in to it and give my self the best chance at a decent result." -Alex Snow With the team and Alex priority being the
Weston Hydrogarden Beach race in October, Snow
will use this time to rest the injury and aim to
be fully recovered by then. |
