Gallas dominates the opening in Crimmitschau Sunshine, happy faces and a completely successful start in Crimmitschau With the launch of the HardEnduroSeries Germany, Crimmitschau has set a new milestone in the history of German enduro sport today. The HET Reinsdorf as a sporting organizer of the first race in Crimmitschau has conjured up a heavy but at the same time fluid route into the Quarry Gablenz near Crimmitschau. Already in the prologue, which was played over 2 full laps, the difficulty of the piste was shown. The Course with many Up- and Downhills selected the 164 riders large field of participants. Also the Superenduro Junior World Champion Kevin Gallas was very impressed by the track. Kevin Gallas was expected to be the fastest driver in the prologue, followed by Leon Hentschel. Thus, Gallas was also the first driver in the finals, which was played over 3h, go into the race. In the LeMans start the Baden-Badener immediately took the lead and tried to get out of the gap. At the end of the first round, everyone was amazed when he returned to 8th place. What happened ? "I had a heavy fall in a confusing place. It was not until I came to my senses under the motorcycle that I realized this. After a short wait I was able to start the race again and tried to come to my senses again and cruised first around the track ", so Gallas after the race in an interview.
First leding rider was Robert Scharl. Followed by a shiny Kenny Lötzsch. For the Drebacher ended the race after an equally serious crash, in the ambulance. At the top, there was a maddening three-way fight for victory. About 60 minutes before the end of the race, Gallas had approached Scharl and Hentschel. Over several laps a three-way fight was formed. As Gallas was past the two drivers, he sat down immediately and drove to the victory of the first run of the HardEnduroSeries Germany. Behind him in second place Leon Hentschel was also the best junior, and Robert Scharl finished in third place. Tobias Wittek narrowly missed the podium just like Marcel Teucher."
With Dirk Peter in sixth place also the best senior placed in the Top10. How heavy the event was, shows the fact that only 1/3 have completed the entire 3h. Already next week, it will be in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz in the second race of the season. Then with a slightly different, but certainly exciting racing mode for everyone.
