TAYLOR ROBERT EMERGES VICTORIOUS FOLLOWING RETURN TO
RACING Hosted by Sage Riders MC in Jericho, Utah, round four brought the AMA KENDA SRT National Hare & Hound Championship presented by FMF back to the West for 92 miles of sweet, dampened off-road terrain. PEEWEE - All the action kicked off Saturday morning with the youngest riders of the series. Off the start, current points leader Grady Ballow of Chidester Transport Racing exhibited his skills as he grabbed the lead position nearly from start to finish. But on the second to last lap Ballow was unable to continue, and Taeson Smith would make his pass from third to first to the finish. Sawyer Palmer and Raiden Trotter trailed Smith into the finish to fill the final podium positions. MICRO MINI - Coming into the weekend, Jett Lessing sat undefeated with a strong hold on the points lead. With the target on his back, Lessing lined up alongside a stacked class of contenders looking to dethrone him. But it would ultimately be Utah-native Breckin Beard who would fight off the competition, leading start to finish ahead of Lessing, Brennen Watson, Kayden Lynn, Ryker Sperry, Sean Freeman, Grady Ballow and many other young talented riders! MINI - Silverstate Trailblazers rider Karson Boyce made quick work of his class off the start line, taking the lead from start to finish. Rylan Hendricksen and Easton Jorgensen chased Boyce to the podium to earn second and third. Class points leader Boyce gained valuable points in the fight for the championship, as fellow contender Cayden Chidester had a difficult day finishing 11th in class. The battle continues! GIRLS - After running away with the class win at round three in Texas, Ty Woolslayer looked to round up another win in Jericho. Woolslayer did just that as she jumped into the lead position immediately, with Kassidy Laswell, Ari Myrdal rounding out the top 3 positions from start to finish. BIG WHEEL - It was a truly exciting day for the Big Wheel class, with a different leader each lap. Coming through on loop 1, Dawson Wood held a 19-second lead over current points leader Bradley east and Aaron Rhodes. While East maintained his position on loop 2, Rhodes and Wood would swap positions and the crowd would celebrate Rhodes as the eventual race winner. Rounding out the top five, Collin Rhodes and Maxwell Shapiro charged for the checkers. WOMEN - Leading start to finish, Brandy Richards earned her second victory of the season over Utah-native Rachel Stout and current class points leader Britney Gallegos. The battle between the fastest female off-road racers on the west continues next week as Stout looks to close the gap on Gallegos for the points lead. PRO 250 - Factory Beta's Chance Fullerton yet again proved his ability this weekend, taking the overall Pro 250 class win. But it didn't come easily for Fullerton as Utah rider Joshua Knight came into the pits with the lead just seconds ahead of Fullerton and Daemon Woolslayer. Over the course of loop two, Fullerton made his move for the lead, leaving Woolslayer to finish in second and Knight in third. PRO - Making a triumphant return from injury sustained to both arms, FMF KTM Factory Racing's Taylor Robert came into the weekend ready to put it all on the table. At the drop of the banner, Robert got a late jump and watched the line take off without him. But he quickly opened up the throttle and put his head down to charge ahead. Picking off riders one by one, Robert made it to the end of the bomb with the lead and jumped on to the race course.
