ERZBERGRODEO XX5: the anniversary edition from May 29th to June 2nd 2019

25 years of World Xtreme Enduro Supreme! The anniversary edition of the world's unique motorsports event gathers thousands of ambitious motorcycle offroad athletes right in the very heart of Austria and turns the whole region around the Styrian Erzberg into the epicentre of international Enduro Sports.

For a quarter of a century the Erzbergrodeo has not only constantly set new standards in Enduro Sports, the one-of-a-kind event is regarded as one of the biggest and most renowned motorcycle racing events in the world. By officially announcing the Erzbergrodeo's event date, thousands of ambitious motorcycle offroad athletes all around the globe start their preparations for the seasons's biggest and toughest Xtreme Enduro race. Multi-thousands fans all over the world mark the weekend from May 29th to June 2nd in their calenders as well - each year this enthusiastic crowd turns the whole region around the picturesque towns of Eisenerz and Vordernberg into the pulsing epicentre of the international Dirtbike community.

As preparations for the epic anniversary edition are running on full throttle, Erzbergrodeo mastermind Karl Katoch lays some new cards on the table for 2019. "We are currently planning on a new and extended race track for the Red Bull Hare Scramble which will overshadow everything we've done so far. By doing so we are reacting on the constantly rising skill level of Xtreme Enduro and can implement new visitor areas for the fans, making the intense action even more tangible. The Erzbergrodeo XX5 will become an unforgettable experience for all competitors and visitors.", Katoch claims.

New visitor shuttle bus routes and even more Live-action
For 2019 the race promotors are paying particular attention to extended services for visitors. "The Erzbergrodeo XX5 will not only be a true highlight for the competitors. In addition to the spectacular side events held in the Interwetten Action Arena, all new shuttle bus routes and extended visitor areas at the Red Bull Hare Scramble will offer a highly impressive experience to all visitors. Fans will be able to see the intense racing action at close hands.", explains Mark Schilling, the Erzbergrodeo's head of organisation. The Erzbergrodeo XX5 will once again be broadcasted Live on ServusTV and Red Bull TV, with the Live stream being broadcasted to the grandstands inside the Erzbergrodeo Arena as well.

Erzbergrodeo XX5 rider registration kicks off on November 5th 2018
The very first "race" of each Erzbergrodeo edition traditionally starts in front of the computer screens as ambitious Enduro athletes try to get hold of one of the 1500 entry spots available. The online rider registration will kick off on November 5th 2018, 9:00 CET at erzbergrodeo.at and appears to be the first hurdle for thousands of dirtbikers on all continents as entry spots are usually gone within a couple of hours!

With the MITAS ROCKET RIDE uphill race, the legendary BLAKLÄDER IRON ROAD PROLOGUE and finally the highlight race RED BULL HARE SCRAMBLE, Erzbergrodeo offers top-class motorcycle offroad action on all 4 days of the event.
