HardEnduroSeries Germany: Gallas takes first victory of the season in Neugattersleben
In the second attempt it worked with the HardEnduroSeries Germany in Neugattersleben. After the run in the last year had cancalled to the dryness, the MC Nienburg got a second chance today.
The weather, however, was again the most demanding factor for the competitors of the HardEnduroSeries Germany. This time it wasn't necessarily the track of the executioners, but rather the dust and the heat, which demanded the last strength of the 60 series riders over 3 hours. Sven Schimanski, race director of the host MC Nienburg, knew no mercy with the drivers and they drove the whole distance. "3h in the dust and on a narrow track were not easy for our riders to master, yet we could again experience an exciting race in Saxony-Anhalt" said series manager Denis Günther.

This time the prologue took place in a slightly different mode, due to the guest race the participants had 2h time to drive fast laps. Since the track became faster and faster at the end, you had to drive tactically to keep the lead. Leon Hentschel started like most riders 2 starts, his time of 14:15 minutes had existed until the end, although Gallas with 14:20 minutes also came very close. Robert Scharl was third with 14:45 minutes ahead of Marcel Teucher who returned to the series in Neugattersleben.
Final - dust without end
18 drivers per row started the race. Kevin Gallas was the first to return from lap 1, which became extremely dusty, and as the race progressed the swaths of dirt cleared a bit as the field on the long cross-country lap, dotted with some obstacles and a narrow forest with many surrounding trees, separated. Nevertheless, for many riders it was an "extremely" different experience than usual, where there are more technical things and natural ups and downs.
Nothing but the usual suspects were at the top. Gallas showed an extremely strong performance and, as already mentioned, took the lead in lap 1, which he didn't give up until the end. Also for 2nd place there was no real duel, Leon Hentschel controlled this from beginning to end against an aggressive driving Robert Scharl.
Thus the last year's champion achieved his first victory
of the season after his return to the series and made up positions in the
Since the two Lane Heims and Louis Richter, who were placed in front of him, will start at the DEM in Waldkappel, Lucas Müller used his chance ice cold and manoeuvred himself with his first junior victory to the top of the table in the junior class: "Actually this was again not my preferred terrain, but I made the best of it and could win. In the next races I'm hoping for a bit more demanding technical tracks to play out my advantages".
In fact, the conditions could play into his hands because for the next race which will already take place next week there will be different conditions with ascents. For this race, which will again be held in exciting mode with prologue, group race and final, can still be registered online at www.hardenduro-germany.de .
