Rock Oil Championship

R7 Lee Dell Rochdale OL11 5UN

RAW Enduro are heading for the Lancashire Hills for round seven of the Rock Oil Championship over the weekend of September 14/15th. An action packed weekend is planned around the popular Lee Dell venue.

For those who haven't raced Lee Dell, it's a venue for a true Cross Country enduro, with some old favourite routes, use of the awesome mountain climb, the hidden vale Valley, plus some fresh new loops. Having not had a bike on it for exactly one year, and with the RAW ground care team planning some new features, this event will be a cracker.

Saturday sees an enduro Pay & Play session running form 10am to pm for 35 per rider, no need to pre book simply turn up pay and play on a fully marked enduro track.

Sunday Race Day

Sunday will be the usual 3 race format, with Youth riders taking to the hills at 8.30am for their 90 minute race. This event is also a Round of the NYEC, so the youth event will be very busy with up to 60 riders set to do battle. Autos and 65's will have their own (Bypass) markers to ensure their track is ride-able even on little wheels. After that the adult Sportsman, Sportsman vets, Over 50, Novice and Ladies will be on track for two hours. A short break for morning race results and track alterations will then be followed by the PM race for the more experienced Expert, Elite Vets, and Clubman who will be on track for a full 2.5 hour event.
