Dave Barkshire Motorcycles - Halstead Hills Two Man Enduro 25th July 2021 Eastern Centre Championship Round. Report & Photographs by Paula Day Photography A very wet weather forecast had sadly meant moving this event from the
long awaited track at Chappel to a regular venue of Halstead Hills and a dry
muggy overcast day finally gave way to a torrential downpour for the last
session of the day causing the bog and other sections of the track to claim
a few casualties in this Dave Barkshire 2-man Enduro the third in the Eastern

Following last weeks win in the second round Luke Parker managed the timed special test in a blistering 4 mins 24 seconds and took first position finishing on 54 laps with partner Ben Cole over Toby Morley & Jack Shepperd who finished on 49 laps with 32 seconds separating them on the special test from third placed Daniel Willis and Ross Taylor also on 49 laps for the top three Championship places.
In clubman class first place went to Sudbury MCC members Archie Gunton & Barnaby Knight 47 laps and now have a clear lead in the eastern centre clubman championship class with 2 wins and a second place. Luke & Lloyd Barker took second place with 44 laps and in third place Hedingham based father and son combination of Paul and Will Belton finished on 43 laps

questions as the hard ground threw up a fine mist of
impenetrable dust that just hung in the air making visibility difficult on
the lower sections of the track.
Following
last weeks win for Thomas Sargent & Adam Durkin at Hawkedon they had to
settle for 3rd place as father and son partnership of Phil & Jacob Roper
took top spot with 49 laps over motorcross rider Finley Jarvis with regular
enduro competitor Joe Phillips in second place on 47 laps.
