After a 2 month break the ACU Michelin British Enduro Championship fired into action with rounds 3 and 4 at the Hafren near Llaniloes,

The typically damp Welsh Summer weather made the opening grasstrack test  - nextt to the start - a challenge that TM rider Josh Gotts accepted as he set the fastest time on his first run - one second ahead of Joe Wootton (JET Husqvarnawith). Dan Mundell (Honda) made a valiant return from injury to take 3rd, On their 2nd run roes were reversed as Joe was the quickest and Josh was runner up. The years then fell away as David Knight thumped his way into 3rd on a 500 KTM.

With riders and motors suitably warmed up the entry paraded through the town before wending their north along country lanes to the Hafren Forest.

The Championship class had 4 runs at the Cross Country test and Joe Wootton won the first but he was not to dominate the day as Dan Mundell was the quickest on T4 and T5 before Joe regained control on T5 and T6. Returning ti Llani for the last 2 tests of the day Joe had a comfortable 30 second lead which he stretched to 40 seconds to take the win. Dan Mundell was 2nd and Josh Gotts was 3rd. Championship leader Tom Sagar set good times all day posting P4, P9, P3, P4, P6, P3, P4 and P5 to finish 4th and David Knight was the Best E3 in 5th.

Harry Houghton from Wrexham on the Steve Plain Beta,300 was the Best Expert, Harry Hillier-Rees was runner up and Jack Rowland was 3rd. The next generation was represented by Alfie Webb and Tom Knight boldly going into 4th and 5th. Jumping the generation gap Paul Herbert from Ellesmere was the Best Over 40 ahead of John Shirt on a JSM GASGAS and Andrew Edwards in 3rd.

Mark Jackson from Eurotek topped the Over 50s on a Sherco,300, Russell Millward from the Isle of Man was 2nd and Welshman Paul Davies was 3rd.

Jacob Roper and Jacob James rode a cracker in the Clubman class. Ethan Pugh from Newtown was 3rd.
