Wil Ruprecht wins the title of Champion of Italy

The victory of Day 2 was not enough for Brad Freeman to beat the Australian.

The Borilli Racing – Ufo Plast 2021 Championship of Italy ended today, Sunday 26 September, with the 9th round staged in the wonderful Friulian town of Maniago, in the province of Pordenone.

To organize the two days of the end of the championship the impeccable Moto Club Fanna of the President Marco Mendizza who supported by local institutions and a large number of collaborators presented, according to the riders, one of the most beautiful races of 2021.

To particularly entertain the 160 participants were the three specials, held four times on Saturday and three on Sunday, and the 45km tour drawn between the streams of the Pre-Alps.

The perfect organization of the Moto Club Fanna accompanied the organizational machine of Italiano Enduro until after the race when, in the suggestive Piazza Italia of Maniago, the awards ceremony of the Italian Champions of the Absolutes of Italy and the Champions of the Italian Cup and FMI Cup were held.

The 24MX Table, awarded to the winner of the Championship, ended up in the hands of the Australian Will Ruprecht who was able to celebrate, together with the TM Boano Team, his first, well-deserved, victory of the Ahola Trophy, which since 2012 goes to those who win the Absolute of the Italian Absolute Championship, seasoned with first place both in the X-CUP Motocross Marketing-Galfer Trophy, awarded to the fastest pilot in the extreme tests, and the Airoh Cross Test Trophy which, instead, goes to the fastest in the fettucciati.

Martini After Saturday's victory, came the reconfirmation of the Betamotor standard-bearer Brad Freeman, in a period of amazing form. The Englishman could not complete the comeback on his opponent and had to settle for second place in the championship.

In the 450 Thomas Oldrati (Honda RedMoto) wins the day 2 but to celebrate the title, the 14th in his career, is the reckless Alex Salvini (Honda) good at never giving up and, despite some too many injuries, puts another Trophy on the bulletin board with the third place of the day, behind Nicola Recchia (GASGAS).

The same fate also for Andrea Verona (GASGAS) who wins but sees his friend Matteo Cavallo (TM Boano) celebrate, second in front of Davide Soreca (Husqvarna).

Team TM Boano that expands its haul of titles also with the very young Matteo Pavoni, undisputed dominator in the Junior with 8 victories out of 9 races and an unfortunate retirement. Second of the day Enrico Zilli (Honda) who puts behind Claudio Spanu (Husqvarna – Osellini). Enrico Rinaldi (GASGAS) was unable to repeat the masterful performance of Saturday, finishing fourth but winning the Eleveit Trophy.

The final classification of the day does not change compared to yesterday in the 250 2T with the new champion Lorenzo Macoritto good to close in first position in front of Maurizio Micheluz (Husqvarna – Osellini) and Guido Conforti (Husqvarna) scoring a perfect season: 9/9!

The fierce youth band has finally found the 2021 Champion: with the second place on the last day can celebrate the coveted title the jewel of the Fantic Jet Team Riccardo Fabris! To win the last test, with a bit of regret for a few too many points left around, is Kevin Cristino (Fantic D'Arpa Racing) while in third position another Fantic, that of Daniele Delbono (E50 Racing).

To tick it off in the 300, and finally be able to celebrate the title, is Gianluca Martini of Betamotor who has the better of Thomas Marini (TM Boano) and the returning Rudy Moroni (KTM). In the 125 another amazing day for Davide Guarneri (Fantic E50) who wins the class in front of Giuliano Mancuso (Fantic D'Arpa) and the Friulian Vanni Cominotti (Fantic).

The Moto Club Sebino wins among the Motoclubs and becomes 2021 champion. Among the Independent Teams, Team Osellini Husqvarna is reconfirmed.

In the Italian Cup Borilli Racing – Ufo Plast overall victory for Thomas Bastiani (KTM) who triumphs in the Cadet where in second place there is Alessandro Guerra (GASGAS) and third Cesare Gandolfo (KTM).

In the Senior continue the celebrations for Filippo Moletta (Husqvarna) who wins over Kevin Quas (Honda) and Massimo Wolkow Mutti (Husqvarna. Federico Trabucco (KTM) is first among the Juniors, both day and in the championship, ahead of Mattia Andreani (GASGAS) and Alessio Beccafichi (Honda). In the Major first place for Eros Bardoli (KTM) ahead of Carlo Tonello (Honda) and Antonello Meli (TM). In the 50 wins Luca Colorio (Vent) on Manuel Verzeroli (Vent) and Davide Mei (Valenti), the latter fresh winner of the championship reserved for zanzarine. Victory in the Women's for Radha Quas riding the Honda 250 4t in front of Sara Bric (KTM); the Friulian rider, thanks to the double success of Maniago, wins the women's championship.

Enrico Rinaldi Dominating the FMI Borilli Racing-Ufo Plast 2021 Cup are Walter Bossi (KTM), in the 4 Strokes, and Andrea Gheza (Beta), in the 2 Strokes, who take home the gold medal as the best drivers of the FMI Cup.

A sparkling season is coming to an end and now we just have to wait frantically for the news of the season of the Assoluti d'Italia Borilli Racing – Ufo Plast 2022 that, as every year, we will present to you on www.italianoenduro.com
