SILVER PLATE FOR JONNY WALKER AT SUPERENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

This past weekend the last two races of the SuperEnduro World Championship were held in the Sachsen Arena in Germany.

The first day of competition was immediately positive for Jonny Walker, who scored three third places with an excellent Overall performance. In the first day there was also the excellent race of Tim Apolle who placed immediately behind Jonny in the first and third manche (fourth position), while he placed fifth in the second manche. A very exciting performance for the young German rider who found himself battling with very experienced and fast drivers.

Jonny Walker came into the final race knowing that he had to fight to maintain his second position in the championship, given the level of the remaining eight drivers in the Prestige Class. Jonny had an 8-point lead over Colton Haaker, but his opponent was very aggressive early on, forcing Jonny to give it his all. The second day's standings saw Jonny and his Beta RR 300 2T take a very good second place Overall, thanks to the following placings: 2-2-3, in the first, second and third manche respectively. Also in this second day of competition deserves to be mentioned the performance of Tim Apolle who brings home an incredible 4-5-5. It's a pity that Tim's start to the season was a bit uncertain and he was unable to fight for the top positions in the championship. The end of the season, however, allows the driver to think big for the future.

Jonny Walker, on the other hand, had an excellent season overall, and finishing in Germany with a superb performance, he took second place in the SuperEnduro World Championship. The entire Betamotor staff would like to congratulate him.

Next appointments for Jonny in the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, to be held on 5-6-7 April in Israel.
