![]() ![]() TOUGH ONE'S The TOUGH ONE's LITTLE BROTHER Extreme Enduro delivered exactly what it advertised in the stunning sunny weather and amazing atmosphere of Nantmawr Quarry last weekend. It was sold as an EXTREME ENDURO "RACE", with Emphasis on the word RACE ... not a bottle neck of random lines and maybe getting through... Not sections that only a few riders can do....not a lottery of completion or a bike breaker either ..just a quality 2.5hrs of the gnarliest and demanding terrain that only this unique quarry can offer. The "RACING" stayed true for the duration and all of the riders that took the chequrerd flag from Steve Ireland at the end where smiling and joyous with a real sense of achievement for finishing the event. The track had been completely reworked by the Team in the week long build up and the strong team of marshals on the day ensured the event went smoothly and safely for all involved. Charlie Frost on his Beta 300 was THE MAN to beat and he was in quite simply the best form we have seen him in around the quarry, period, and hes been at the TOLB on many occaisons in the past, winning and podiums galore but not quite as smooth, dominant and flowing as this performance.
Full results are below and there will be a FULL race report video from the Race Boss Steve this week on social media. A massive thanks as always goes out to the Land owners, staff, medics, caterers, and all of the folk that made the event happen, the biggest thanks going to the riders for signing up and supporting the event, without them there would be no racing!!! Well done to all. DOC WARD Photography LAPS Details .
