Nathan Watson in Italy

The 2025 Italian Enduro Championship officially started with the Colliano GP, in Salerno. A technical and selective 50 km course, with three special stages that had to be repeated several times, which tested the riders' skills and endurance. The Beta Factory Enduro Team showed up with a reduced line-up, with Nathan Watson competing while Brad Freeman is still recovering from his knee injury. The British rider, with the team, decided to skip the race in order to recover as well as possible for the next rounds.

Still not in the best physical condition after his injury last season, Nathan Watson started the weekend with a cautious approach, without forcing the pace but still demonstrating excellent competitiveness. After 8th place in Friday's Super Test, the British rider rode a Day One improving himself, setting the 2nd best time overall in the 4th passage of the Cross Test. At the end of the day he finished 6th in the Overall and 4th in the Foreigner Class.

On Sunday, Nathan improved his performance even further, running a smooth and error-free race. He finished Day Two in 5th place in the Overall and took 3rd place in the Foreigner class, finishing on the podium.

Nathan Watson:
"I am in the process of recovering from my injury and the weekend went well. With the team we immediately found a good setting of the bike. My goal is to get back into the rhythm in the Italian Championships in order to arrive at my best at the World Championship premiere in Portugal."

Filed the first round of the "Assoluti d'Italia", the Beta Factory Enduro Team will be back on track in a couple of weeks for the Camaiore GP, third and fourth round of the season 2025.
