"BUXTON WOR WESS WRAP UP.. Pics DOC Ward You could have called this a festival weekend.... With the Saturday Nights live music and entertainment and the general amazing feedback from the riders for the course and its "old school" Hare n Hounds Enduro feel...It was a TOP couple of days had by all.. The Music night on Saturday, as well as celebrating WOR's Adam's 18th Birthday ..it raised £1100 for the air ambulance with the onsite bar earning probably a lot more than that lol!!! A 5 mile lap that would not have run if there had been any more rain in the week building up..was soft under foot even with the fantastic sunny and warm conditions of race day. Big Winners over the 3 races where Alfie Elvin in the Auto's .. Jacob Bragg in the Juniors and James Elvin in the main adults race.
The WOR ENDURO Sport would like to thanks , as always , the amazing and loyal Staff that make the events what they are ...The superb caterers, onsite shop/ parts man/ Doc ward Photographer / TC medical / flush away toilets/ Corwen Graphics and everyone else that simply makes the WOR machine start/ run and roll...NON MORE SO THAN THE RIDERS THAT KEEP VOTING WITH THEIR FEET!!
