photoRound 7 - the penultimate round of Endurolands Lucus Oil RaceXC Series

Round 7 .the penultimate round of Endurolands Lucus Oil RaceXC Series returned to the fast and furious venue in Hertfordshire of Northaw Equestrian Centre .over 300 riders graced the point to point course in either race or practice guise at the weekend with a record kids/youth race entry which was great to see thanks mainly to Chris Salt of Docklands Riders club .

The youth RaceXC saw current overall leader Callum Sedgwick given a run for his money with Docklands Rider Alana Atkins until she had bike trouble towards the end .so Callum Sedgwick took the 85cc BW class followed by James Dover and Stellina Blooman .A new 125cc entry saw Boss reopen this category for the weekend with three fairly new riders taking part ,some using Docklands riders own bikes ,being the cracking little TTR 125s ,Sonny Aylward taking the win with Rhianna Wright in second and Kip Sims in third .

The 85cc small wheel class was again won by Chris Bailey with young Travis field and Nathan Upton 2nd & 3rd respectively .
Last but not least the 65cc class was an Italian affair with Rocco Fiori taking first place ,Kyle Saunders in second and Enrico Fiori in third. A superb youth entry inspired the club to seriously reconsider continue running the youth events in 2015 .

Onto the Quad RaceXC with the gentleman of Quad racing Josh Waring blitzing the cross country scene once again taking Elite & overall honours .in second place was Paul Hannam and third place went to Matt Branch .Mitch Couzens just missing the podium in fourth place .Ride of the day went to rooky winner Bradley Price with a cracking 3rd place overall and rooky 1st place ,with Gary bacon 2nd and Louis Roberts in third .

Endurolands very own Khloe Down took the 250cc plus win ,with brother Josh Down in 2nd place and Lucas Oil supported Andrew Perring in 3rd despite a corker of a crash at the start with the 4x4 winner Peter Stickland (see you tube lol )

The 450cc Clubman win went to Mr consistent Andrew Homer and Michael Adamzcak took runner up.

Sunday saw a misty start dampen down the dust for the Adult Solo RaceXC and Dan Johnson took the Elite win with a fabulous ,flawless ride .Chris Leggitt usually on four wheels was given a two wheel opportunity and took 2nd place in the Elite with his fun, wildcard entry .

The Clubman was won by Jake Palmer who battled for the whole 90 minutes with youth winner Aaron Bloomfield .In second place clubman was Ewan Day followed by Lucas Oil /Back on track supported Josh Buckley with a mega holeshot .

The sportsman class saw a new winner and a well deserved ,long awaited win for Steve Elliott with les Hubbard and Lewis Chapman taking 2nd & 3rd .

The vets had new kid on the block Neil Duffy take first with Lee Allis Smith in second and Phil Dearden in third .
