Putoline Hard Enduro Lee Dell
Josh Lays down the Law

With the winter enduro season now in full flow, and many riders wanting to test themselves just a little bit more ahead of the 2014 season, Wayne Braybrook prepared the perfect course for all classes to have a good old school thrash around a hard enduro event.

The course had been designed so that rather than putting in chicken routes or easy options, riders had to think as they rode and look for the many lines that were available in the event of any blockages on track. The recipe was just right, the old mill ruins sections slowed the pace for everyone as they negotiated their way through each lap. An unusually dry, bright and sunny day meant the deterioration of the course was kept to the absolute minimum, something which was a bonus for the organisers on the day.

The two hour event started at 11am with Expert lady rider Jane Daniels grabbing the holeshot, she was followed down the quarry road by the usual Expert and a high capacity Clubman entry. First through lap scoring was Jordon Rose out on a 300i Sherco for the first time since the ISDE. Rose was tailgated by MPS top man Jack Rowland getting some hard enduro training, as requested by team principle Mick Seward. After six laps in the lead and looking good, Rose hit mechanical problems forcing him to retire, this left Rowland to take the win in the Elite class.

In the Expert class Mick Boam was setting a consistent pace up front, and as usual staying feet up and out of trouble, despite pulling his hamstring on lap one. Making good progress after a poor start, and on his return to bike fitness after suffering a broken ankle was local ace Biff Smith; Biff overtook a tiring Boam to take the win, eventually getting 18 laps in before the flag went out. Jane Daniels rounded out the podium with a fine third place. With most championships wrapped up for 2013, many riders who have upgraded a class for 2014 were having their first outings against stiffer competition. Sportsman class honours went to the quiet Nathan Ball, Nathan comes from of family of off road enthusiasts and his Sportsman win came from a determined ride. Youth upgrade Brandon Sharples finished in second place only a couple of minutes adrift, with Gary Nicholson taking the final podium place in his ride up a class from the Beginners ranks.

A new for 2014 Sportsman Vets class was tested out for the first time having being requested by some regular club members. Alan Smith took his 300i Sherco to a surprise win ahead of Mansfield Motorcycles Shane Marriott. Jon Malone crossed the finish line in third place saying "what a bloody good event that was". In the regular Over 40 Vets class local off road dealer Martin Sandiford stretched his legs over a brand new Beta, and duly ran the bike in over the course of two hours taking a solid win back to Burnley. Gary Parr took second place, with Chris Ball grinding out a good third place finish.

The largest class of the day was the Clubman class. Clubman riders are always set for a good battle with most of them on their way to, or from the Expert ranks depending on how often they actually ride. Josh Law was the man on the move all day, the ex trials rider looked smooth and unflustered during the two hour race. His technique through the tougher sections helped him save energy to be sure of the win. Iain Robinson finished in runner up spot just over 8 minutes behind Josh Law, with Neil Croston happy taking home the third place trophy.

The biggest shout out from the day has to go to the hardy Youth and Adult Beginner riders who braved the hard enduro format. James Cooke Thomas took the Beginners trophy from a delighted Adam Greener who finished in runner up spot. The likable lad from the northeast Dean Hutchinson took his factory replica 250i Sherco to a great final podium place.

Four Youth riders entered the main event, out on a new 125 Danny Culkin was top of the pile ahead of an exhausted Josh Haith. Haith's achievement finishing runner up on a small wheel 85 did not go unnoticed. Newcomer to enduro Declan Sewed finished in third place. Reece Pickersgill was the only other Youth rider finishing on a small wheel 85; Reece was another rider exhausted, but the gritty lad from Yorkshire refused to be beaten at his first Hard Enduro outing.

All in all despite a small entry the event was a resounding success. Wayne Braybrook is now running winter enduro training schools, and extreme enduro training schools through until the end of January 2014, mid week dates are available for those who fancy learning from one of the worlds top extreme enduro riders.

Robbie Wallace and Patrick Haith Grab Sportsman and Beginner honours at Ellington Banks Final Round.
Report: ROR Media Images: CH-Images

RideoffroadUK drew the 2013 Doodson Motorsport Championship to a close at Ellington Banks near Ripon in North Yorkshire. The current unsettled weather was kind leading up to the event, but for the actual race a constant haze of drizzle fell from the skies making conditions greasy out on track.

First on track Sunday morning was the Youth riders; Josh Bailey has ended his year on a real high, having some strong results on his 125 KTM. Josh took the final round win by over 2 minutes from ROR regular Tom Rial. The Youth B class battle was once again between Josh Haith and Dawson Marriott, both riders kept each other on their toes lap after lap, with Haith sealing the win and the Youth B Championship. Dawson Marriott's season has been a strong one for his first season on an 85cc machine, the lad from Mansfield earned a fine runner up place on the day. Revelling in the wet conditions despite his KX85 refusing to start on the line, Reece Pickersgill made a welcome return to ROR after having some time off trials riding. He used his trials skills to great effect being the only other Youth B rider to complete 12 laps of the course.

With entries for the usual afternoon race being very low, the decision was taken to run the small fast boys entry within the usual morning race. First away and leader around the first lap was Chris Pingu Hughes, despite some regular Experts not riding due to injuries, Hughes still had to push hard to seal the Expert win. He was hounded all race by Clubman Champion (now upgraded to Expert) Mick Boam. Boamy's stand up trials style suited the Ellington course and enabled him to get within 6 seconds of Hughes at one point, until the closing stages when Hughes took control of the overall win. Third place on the day went to Sherco mounted Anthony Tempest; Anth rounded his season off with a good result and a fine overall championship third place. The Sportsman class threw up a few surprises as Robbie Wallace saved his best until last, taking his first ROR adult event win. Wallace worked hard in the slippery conditions to take a two minute winning margin over the on form Sherco mounted Doltan Shannon. Shannon's nightmare start left him playing catch up all race, he was pushed right to the end by Gas Gas mounted Phil Dodsworth.

Beginners class honours went to the hard charging Patrick Haith; Patrick took a narrow winning margin from second placed Rob Little. Trevor Harvey ended his ROR championship season with a good third place adding to his overall points tally. Agri Weld boss Dean Foster had his best result of the season, despite a big off costing valuable time! Dean netted a fine fifth place on his immaculate Green and Blue 300i Sherco. One rider to watch in 2014 is Clubman, now Expert upgrade George England. The lad from the east coast has produced some very strong results towards the end of the season, now confident in his own ability, we look forward to England mixing it within the regular Expert ranks in the new season. His win in the final Doodson Clubman round would have seen him third in the Expert class. Second place in Clubman went to David Haith who is now well on the road to recovery after a season long battle with an injured knee. Neil Marshall ground out a great third place just missing second spot by 20 seconds, Neil has been very consistent all season for a lad who is super busy with work having limited saddle time between races. The two Vets classes seemed to be a bikes falling apart class. John Brindley took the Over 50 class win and 2013 Championship despite loosing his KTM air Filter cover. In the Over 40 class Mick Robson just edged out Gary Lancaster whos Honda shed its front light at half race distance. Alan Smith now settled into Sherco 300i power took the final podium place ahead of Steve Johnson who was the only other Vet to complete 16 laps.

In a world which is full of difficult times for lots of people, the high standards of organisation by RideoffroadUK have kept the clubs reputation of being one of the most rider friendly crews at the top of the list for many during the 2013 season. RideoffroadUK directors Wayne and Sonya Braybrook would like to say a massive well done and thank you to all riders who have supported the ROR club this season. The winter months will be filled by the popular Play and Race Days, Practise Days and a Hard Enduro before details and dates on a fresh look 2014 Hare & Hounds Championship are released in the not too distant future.

Doodson Championship Rnd 5
Pateley Bridge
Report: ROR Media Images: CH-Images

MRS team Sherco riders blew away the opposition at the latest ROR Doodson Championship. The picture postcard venue situated high above Gouthwaite Reservoir was a simply stunning backdrop to the latest top quality event promoted by RideoffroadUK. Brothers Gethin and Owain Humphries were on red hot form as the pair pushed each other to the maximum in front of MRS Sherco top brass.

Cool overnight temperatures gave the North Yorkshire hills a coating of dew, this proved to make the early laps of the Youth race quite tricky for some riders. As the sun started to warm up shortly after the 8.30am youth start, Josh Haith made the best of the conditions using his throttle control and feet up style to take the youth B class win ahead of Dawson Marriott, Jacob Wilson finished a strong 3rd. Brandon Sharples was out on a 125 for the first time this year, as expected the Lancashire lad looked right at home as the larger bike will now see his overall speed improve.

After the youth race the course was now well heeled in and berming up nicely ready for the first of two adult events on the day. The packed Beginners class honours went to the popular Trevor Harvey on 16 laps completed, he was chased hard by Lee Mackay who missed out on the extra lap by just 10 seconds as the flag went out on the 2 hour mark. Local MX ace Pete Newbould came home in a solid final podium spot. A good turn out of Over50 vets kept the old lads racing healthy, John Brindley had in his own words a great day out taking the win from local man Duncan Tweedy. Mark Wardingley strengthened his championship position with a solid third place. Stand out performance of the day went to Dalton Shannon in the sportsman class, after an almost last away start the lad from Halifax came around lap one in third place, soon after that Shannon hit the front a got a good gap on the chasing pack. Opting to fuel early was a good shout from the Shannon crew leaving Dalton to focus on a solid run to the flag. The win was for his Dads birthday present, good idea Dalton no money out of your pocket! Elliott Shaw had a great race despite not haven ridden a lot this season, second on the day was a great result holding off David Williams for third.

With the morning events completed and trophies handed out to the victors, it was time for a small but talent packed fast boys race to do battle. Three riders were in the Pro Elite class with brothers Gethin and Owain Humphries making the journey from North Wales to race with ROR for the first time. The younger Gethin was in fine form on his Factory 250 Sherco, brother Owain didn't let him have it easy as the pair rode hard for two hours. Gethin took a slender win after Owain slipped off during the closing stages. Jon Hunt had a great ride taking third with a lap tally that would have seen him win the expert class by a clear lap. Chris Hughes took the expert class win making a faultless ride after a short battle with Rob Dawson, Dawson still suffering from a shoulder injury from the Natterjack made the best of a painful ride to take second spot and the Expert Championship for 2013. Local car dealer Will Midgley stretched his legs to take a fine third place on his KTM.

Clubman class spoils went to the in form Mick Boam, he finished one lap ahead of 5am home man George England… with Neil Marshal in third. A quality over40 class was taken by runaway championship leader Anthony Ayrton, despite being stung on the hand by a wasp while out pre walking the course. Gavin Johnson made the journey down from Scotland to test the 2014 Sherco's on Saturday followed by a great runner up spot on Sunday. Alan Smith took his 300i Sherco to a well earned third place on the day.

For the first actual race at this new venue feedback was good. Pateley has already been graded and will now be left to rest until 2014. Massive thanks to the hard working ROR marshals, the final Doodson Round is a back to back affair with Ellington Banks near Ripon hosting ROR on October 13th. Final Round of the Putoline 4 Hour Enduro Series
Lee Dell Rochdale
September 22nd
Photos CH-Images

The Lancashire hills were uncharacteristically kind to the final round of the Putoline 4 hour series when superb weather graced Lee Dell for a superb event.

A slightly shorter than usual course was laid on by the ROR crew, the idea was to keep the on track action exciting as 2 man teams swapped places in what turned out to be the perfect event for all rider abilities.

First off were the youth riders who battled on a fresh new course for a full two hour marathon, ex trials ace Josh Bailey took a good win on his 125 KTM from the ever improving Tommy Grimmer. Tommy, is now getting used to 125 power and has sealed the overall Putoline Series Youth A win, he is set for a great 2014 season. Haith Motorsports Josh Haith continued a good run of form by winning the youth B battle from his nearest rival Dawson Marriott. ROR newcomer and MX convert Cain Tailford is showing signs of progressing well within the club as a solid third place went home in his truck.

The 4 hour adult event was the usual endurance race Le Mans Style start, although riders didn't have to run far they had to climb onto their bikes before setting off, something that most riders enjoyed for a change. Favourites for the Pro Expert team class Pingu Hughes and Matt Solan got off to a great start thanks to Solans speed and good local knowledge on the first stint. However Solans KTM 300 hit problems when the gearbox locked up in sixth gear, thankfully with some clutch abuse and never say die grit he got the bike to the change over area and sent out his team mate Chirs Hughes to get on with the race. The pair used the Hughes 349 bike to finish the event taking a great win. Second spot went to Paul Herbert and Robert Cooke who only missed the win by 3 minutes over 4 hours of racing.

The largest class of the day was the sportsman team class. It was a father and son duo who earned the respect of others as Ian and his son Dalton Shannon took their 250 Sherco to a convincing win. With dad knackered and Lad chomping at the bit, the pair got the job done without any fuss. Second spot went to Tim and Ste Thornton who narrowly edged out local duo Ronnie Hill and Ryan Newbury. Championship leaders Marc Vardy Snr and Shane Marriott had a below par day finishing in eighth place but claimed the overall Putoline series win. Marc Vardy Jnr and his team mate Ben Clarke continue to improve in the beginners class taking a well deserved win, both lads improve each weekend and again are looking set for good results in 2014 when they really are used to their 125cc upgrades.

Andy Kirby and Steve Hall sealed the Vets team championship in fine style taking a great win back home to east Yorkshire. Martyn Thomas had his hands full in the solo vets class when in the closing laps he and Gary Court were less than one minute apart, Thomas took the win by just less than a minute after 4 hours solo of racing!

Out on his new bike Oliver Allbones clocked up 36 laps in the sportsman solo class, Tough Mudder runner Paul Daley Smith earned a credible second spot, whilst Pete Archer made the trip from Solihull worthwhile taking his first ever ROR trophy back down the M6, this proves to his dad that he can ride Enduro as well as trials!.

Clubman solo honours went to Andy Cooke on his #98 gas gas, Andy took a clear two lap advantage over Ryan Heinz with George England netting the final podium place. The clubman team class was more like family fortunes, team honours went to brothers Josh and Ben Hamilton as they took the win ahead of the Gordon Family, Dad Stu and daughter Jade rode superbly well to take a fine runner up spot and seal the Putoline clubman team championship. Graham Flint and Nick Rock were delighted to end the series with a credible third place on the day.

The Beginner solo class was a battle right to the end. On the day Trevor Harvey headed the class clocking up a 30 lap tally, Mark Cockfield earned a solid second spot with Chris Gowland finishing in third place. Championship winner James Cooke Thomas did just enough on the day finishing in fourth place to win the title by just 3 points over his mate Mark Cockfield.

The Putoline 4 hour series has being a really enjoyable one, friends and rivals battled, some teamed up to ride together, but above all the ROR organisation once again delivered a friendly enjoyable cluster of events which despite one round being cancelled due to the economic climate, the events worked really well for all who attended. Huge thanks must go to Putoline Lubricants for supporting this series with generous product prizes. These will be handed out to the class victors at the annual ROR events presentation evening in November.

Next event is on October 5th where the Sherco trials and enduro test Day will be at Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire, followed by the next Doodson Championship round at the same venue one day later on October 6th.

RideoffroadUK Doodson Round 4 Re Run
Driffield East Yorkshire
Report: ROR Media Images: CH-Images

RideoffroadUK held a championship race re run from a postponed event back in May at the popular east coast venue of Driffield over the bank holiday weekend. A revised course plotted by the ROR crew saw a generous 4 mile lap which included a longer than usual route through the Kellythorpe woodland section of the site, this proved a big hit with the enduro riders on the line. As the races progressed the woodland cut up and this meant riders had the extra challenge of picking smoother lines and avoiding tree stumps and roots.

The Lancashire whippet Brandon Sharples dominated the Youth A class; Brandon beat the clock and managed to put a one lap advantage over his nearest rival local ace Tom Rial. Technical enduro enthusiast Josh Bailey had a race long battle with Tom Rial but eventually lost out by a small margin at the finish. Dawson Marriott put a strong win over his nearest rival Josh Haith in Youth B, with MX newcomer Cain Tailford showing good future potential finishing in third spot.

A healthy morning race line up was flagged away at 10.30 for their two hour event which saw Rick Rials KTM almost loop out from the start line when he got over zealous with the throttle application! First around lap one was Ryan Newbury and Sportsman Championship leader Ryan Gee. The pair were running a great pace swapping places until Gee's Honda wobbled into the pits with a flat tyre. This left Newbury to take a well earned first place. MX regular Tim Gardham was runner up closely followed by a back to form Doltan Shannon, giving his 250 Factory Sherco a great work out around the long fast Driffield track. Young Marc Vardy topped the Beginners class out on his brand new 125 KTM, another MX convert James Thompson held off the hard charging Trevor Harvey for a great second place finish.

Although only a small turn out of riders was present for the afternoon race, the class battles were as close as ever. Clubman rider George England had the ride of his life, battling with sore hands, he overcame an average start, and a super quick Mick Boam to win the class on the very last lap. Team England opted to gamble and not refuel during the intense battle, one that saw dad Neil hold his breath for the entire last lap until the bright yellow Airoh helmet came back into view! Championship leader Mick Boam took second spot from the on form Neil Marshall on the 182 machine. Local tipper driver Andy Kirby had a great and well deserved win in the Over 40 Vet's class from Andy Williams and Simon Syrett. Chris "Pingu" Hughes led the main race for a good while until a returning to fitness Ryan Staveley got back in the groove and proved to himself that he's getting well on the road to recovery. Staveley in the Elite class took the overall win and fastest lap of the race ahead of Sherco mounted local hotshot Luke Flack. Chris Hughes took a convincing Expert class win ahead of Championship leader Rob Dawson, who by his own admission had an off day at the office! ROR regular Ant Tempest brought his 300 Sherco home for a solid final podium place.

England Tops Helmsley in Glorious Sunshine.
Doodson Round 9

Report ROR Media
Images Matt Rudd Photography

An unplanned change of venue for round 9 was forced upon ROR when the proposed Gisburn venue was behind schedule with crop harvesting. So it was over the border into North Yorkshire where Helmsley's Carlton Grange hosted the best event yet in the Yorkshire woodland.

Youth A rider Brandon Sharples hit trouble on the start line when his SHR KTM needed some quick spanner work from Mr Sharples Snr to even make the start. For the entire race Josh Bailey held a slender lead over Tom Rial and Sharples, the three riders locked in battle were eventually sorted out as Brandon found his feet to take a narrow victory from ex trials rider Josh Bailey. A slip off on the final lap meant Tom Rial had to settle for third place on the day. Mansfield Motorcycles Dawson Marriott made up for disappointing previous races by winning the Youth B class from his nearest rival Josh Haith. Haith struggled to find a good rhythm on the day. Oliver Franklin gave his grandparents something to cheer for as he earned a credible final podium place.

The Revised 3.5 mile lap around the Carlton Grange venue was in perfect condition for the main Adult race of the day. The sun shone through the mature woodland as all classes were flagged away from the start line. First back to lap scoring was the "in form" Ryan Gee, having gapped the entire field by almost 40 seconds in one lap he went on to cruise home for a safe win. Ben Fenton worked hard in the closing stages to fend off Championship runner Rob Bunting; Rob took another bag full of point's home for his solid third place finish. Trevor Harvey was the man on the move in the Beginners class, with the top 4 riders separated by only 31seconds; this was the closest finish ever. Rob Carr and James Cooke-Thomas finished second and third respectively behind Trevor Harvey. Championship leader Gary Nicholson did well to finish at all, riding with a flat rear tyre for over an hour he eventually got the points he needed by finishing in fourth place. Anita Gordon was Ladies class victor, Neet loved the Helmsley track and at times had the little YZ125 singing along to top form. Newcomer Nikita Miller took her CRF150 to a great runner up place.

After a short break for the morning event results and presentation, a small but quality field of Expert, Over 40 and Clubman riders were flagged away. ROR newcomer Richard Ellwood was setting the pace on lap one, followed by ROR/MRS Sherco team riders Scott Austin and Rob Dawson. Ellwood's pace was good, but by his own admission his race fitness isn't quite there yet. Being an ex-trials rider he is not short of technique and is determined to improve his all round enduro riding before the 2014 Erzberg. One of the closest battles of the day went on in the Clubman class. East Coast lad George England made the best of the loamy track conditions around Helmsley to take a stunning win before he jets off to university. Mick Boam stood up for the whole two hours and netted a great second spot! Mick only just held off Daniel Hurd who was charging hard in the latter stages of the race. Rob Dawson took his 250 Sherco to a solid win in the Expert class. James Wood made the journey worthwhile taking a well earned second spot ahead of ROR regular Anth Tempest. Lancastrian Anthony Ayrton rolled the dice in the Over40 class when his Gas Gas ran out of fuel on the penultimate lap. A quick turn onto reserve saw him limp round to the pits for a splash of fuel to see him to the finish in first place. Fresh from a Romanian Enduro riding holiday, Chris Ball took second spot on 14 laps ahead of Gary Lancaster.

A change of venue is never ideal for any club, but once again RideoffroadUK and its fantastic club members supported this last minute change to great effect.

The Doodson Championship heads east to the awesome Driffield venue over the August Bank Holiday weekend where a BED day on Saturday 24th August will be followed by Round 4 of the Doodson Championship on Sunday - this is to catch up with the event in May that had to be postponed.

Round 8 Tosside North Yorkshire
Right Up Dawson's Creek…
Report: ROR Media

When any club take on a fresh new venue there can always be an element of how good will it be from a riders prospective. When rideoffroadUK rolled into Tosside on Sunday the organisation knew that the course plotted was going to be one of the best of the season. However the freak UK weather dealt a bitter blow when super heavy overnight storms meant the river level rose over 2 feet leaving half the course unreachable for the Youth and morning Adult race.

Fast into action on Sunday morning at 5.30am the ROR course crew had to re route over a mile of course to avoid the swollen river which linked two halves of the land, this reduced the lap time down to a modest average of around 7 minutes for the well supported Adult morning event.

Youth riders were first on track Sunday morning after a delayed start due to marshals still marking the revised course. Brandon Sharples loved the track and the conditions, despite carrying an injury to his leg the Lancashire lad won the Youth A class from Tom Rial by a small 3 minute margin. Josh Haith took advantage of Dawson Marriott's KTM going sick mid race to nick the Youth B class.

With the sun drying the course and a light wind helping too, the morning Adult event riders were ready for the off. With Championship positions now getting super close in all Doodson Championship classes, the seeded top 20 Sportsman were all on row one.

The first part of the course was made up of 5 fast flowing field sections before riders plunged into the valley via the Downs Banks section of the course, this section proved to be a riders and spectators favourite as the course worked its way around the undulating grassland areas. One small section caused the most problems behind the farm, this was the course re route avoiding the swollen river which turned into a 50m single rut on an off camber bank. Rob Bunting used his trials experience to pilot his factoy Replica Sherco to a great Sportsman win, another Sherco mounted sportsman rider Doltan Shannon was forced to retire after a crash left him with a broken thumb. The Sportsman Championship is wide open at the moment and its looking like every point will count come the end of the Championship. Gary Nicholson continued to dominate the Beginner's class just beating the two hour time limit to gain an extra lap over second placed Trevor Harvey. Rob Carr missed the cut off by nine thousands of a second but he still secured third place on the day. Local Vets ace John Lofthouse took victory in the Over50 class; only Lofthouse and John Brindley clocked up 19 laps within the time limit. William Beatty edged out ROR regular Duncan Tweedy for third place by a mere 17 seconds!

As the course was now drying out almost to perfection, and with the river level dropping to a rideable level, Clerk of the course Wayne Braybrook decided to include this section of the course for the more experienced riders within the Pro-Elite, Expert, Over40 and Clubman classes. It was voted on the start line by the riders for a two hour race. Super quick starting Lee Sealey took his Midwest Husaberg to a holeshot around the fast field sections, hot on his heels was Expert Championship leader Rob Dawson proving that four strokes can start quick if you know what you're doing!! As the Elite class riders hammered down the riverside section there was also another climb added to test them which most took in their stride. After slowish starts, Scott Austin and British Sprint Championship regular Fraser Flockhart were setting the pace. They were followed by Sealey and MX ace Danny Morse. Zac Sherwin looked fast on the first two laps until an unlucky crash in the river left his Beta needing to be bled free of water when it sucked in the aqua, this left Sherwin hunting for tools to remove the fuel tank to get the spark plug out before he could continue. By the end of the two hours Scott Austin took the MRS Sherco 300i to the Elite class win. A late charge from Fraser Flockhart was in vein as his KTM fuel tank ran dry on the penultimate lap when he was only 40 seconds off the lead. Lee Sealey was just pipped at the post for third by Danny Morse.

Expert class honours went to Sherco 250i mounted Rob Dawson; Rob's good start and impressive level of fitness allowed the lad from North Yorkshire to control the race even including a splash of fuel to be safe. Chris Hughes was runner up finishing just under two minutes behind Dawson, and Sprayzone's Anthony Tempest gained valuable championship points with a good third place finish. The Clubman class was as close as ever; ex trials ace and stand up specialist Mick Boam took a narrow win from the hard charging Daniel Hurd. Neil Marshall was surprised to take third place although his pace is well within reach of Clubman class wins. In the old boys Over 40 class it was the old firm duo of Chris Ball and his mate/rival Howard Blundell fighting for the top spot. At the flag Ball took an 11 second margin as "just enough" edging out "Big H" Mr Blundell. Anthony Crow narrowly missed out at the time cut off by a mere 10 seconds meaning he was one lap down on the top two riders in class.

For a first time at a new venue, and faced with a downpour of rain during Saturday evening for a solid 13 hours, the ROR organisation did a superb job to keep the event running much to the delight of those who attended.

Massive thanks to our marshals and helpers, in particular Rob, Russ and Chris for assisting with the early morning course re route.
The Doodson Championship resumes on August 11th at Gisburn in Lancashire where a fast, flowing stubble valley awaits weather permitting.

Doodson Championship Round 7
Muddy Lee Dell sorts the men from the boys
Report: ROR Media Images: CH-Images

Having had a great week during track design and build, rideoffroaduk knew that the forecast heavy rain for Saturday evening would make conditions difficult for the Sunday event. However lady luck was on the clubs side, heavy rain expected during race day never really arrived thanks to strong winds keeping the showers brief and helping to dry out parts of the hill top venue.

A long open flowing course was marked to allow for a traditional hare & hounds layout, riders had massive wide areas in which to pass slower riders, and avoid any boggy areas as the three races began to stir up the Lancashire turf.

By any standards a very small youth turn out ran on the full adult lap, Josh Bailey headed the youth A class ahead of local ace Ronnie Hill. Josh Haith had his narrowest winning margin of the year just heading off Reece Pickersgill for second spot, Dawson Marriott was the only other youth B rider on 8 laps completed.

The main race of the day as always at rideoffroadUK events was the sportsman, beginner vets and ladies. With the top 20 sportsman now seeded for front row starts the action was flagged away shortly after 10.30am. Dalton Shannon turned a nightmare “dead last” away start into a positive day by using great lines and a calm approach; this left the lad from west Yorkshire in a superb runner up place behind overall winner Ryan Gee, after having to pass the field of almost 50 sportsman. Another rider proving that the holeshot means nothing was beginner Gary Nicholson, Gaza’s Husaberg refused to start leaving him with a long two hours to get to the front, his tough northern get on with it attitude gained him a great win over second placed Trevor Harvey. James Wardingley had a superb result rounding out the podium in third spot.

A superb turn out of riders in the Elite, Expert, Clubman and over 40 classes were greeted with a first for rideoffroadUK events. Wayne Braybrook has had lots of requests for some tougher sections to be added to the afternoon events, the club had cleared the perfect up hill gulley section to test the more experienced riders. A drop down across a small stream led to a steadily steepening bank, with another stream crossing before cresting the hill through an old dry stone wall via a narrow sheep track. This made riders think about lines and in particular throttle control on the slippy bank.

Neil Marshall was top clubman rider in the tough conditions taking a 5 minute win away from ex trials man Mick Boam, Sam Ludgate netted a fine third place. Martin Sandiford had a rare enduro outing to take the Over40 class win away from championship leader Anthony Ayrton. 2014 Elite upgrade Chris Hughes showed great pace to win the expert class ahead of rideoffroaduk Sherco team rider Rob Dawson. Elite class winner Scott Austin ripped his Factory 300 Sherco around Lee Dell to take a one lap advantage over Lee Sealey, Sealey's first lap crash meant he had to work hard all race for his great result. TM mounted Jordon Rose went out on lap two after his machine ingested some dirt, and Zac Sherwin overcame blistered thumbs to finish in third place.

Many Thanks to the Marshal’s who provide ROR members with a great service out on track. Next Event is the Bunts Blast near Pinxton in Nott’s where the Putoline 4 hour team event will take place.

Doodson Championship Round 6
Gee up at Hatcliffe
Report: ROR Media
Images: Becky Dean

With some Hare & Hounds courses being super long laps, sometimes the “racing” and excitement factor can be diluted in some ways. RideoffroadUK chose to run Round 6 at the simply stunning Hatcliffe venue in North Lincs. The picture postcard camping and paddock area complimented a cracking Hare & Hounds course plotted by the ROR crew. The lap is a short one for enduro, although Wayne & Sonya Braybrook believe a Championship should have a varying style of events to find the overall Championship winners. Hatcliffe provided some awesome close racing through all 3 races during the day, and with great weather the official spectator area was buzzing all day.

Youth B rider Josh Haith goes from strength to strength, taking the Youth B win on his Haith Motorsports KTM. Dawson Marriott continued his good run of form just missing out on the win by less than two minutes, Reece Pickersgill had a nightmare start when his little Kawasaki failed to fire up, the gritty lad was totally unfazed and just pressed on to grind out a podium finish. Brandon Sharples ran a solid race to take the Youth A class ahead of Josh Bailey, with Tom Rial in third after a race long battle with Bailey.

At 10.30 prompt the morning event classes were flagged away from the start. The short lap meant that riders were able to get into racing more by remembering the track with the extra laps covered. Ryan Gee rode a faultless race on his immaculate Honda CR250 to take an 11 second winning margin ahead of Ben Fenton. Fenton also had a real battle holding off Dalton Shannon who after an average start had to work hard to get to the lead riders. Shannon now getting to grips with his 4 stroke Sherco power is maturing with every ride out. Over 50 class riders also had some close racing with Mark Paine taking his 150 KTM to the first win of 2013. Anita Gordon headed the Ladies class with newcomer Nikita Miller placing runner up. The Beginners class is seeing some titanic battles at each and every event, although these riders are amongst the least experienced at each event, they sure do make up for it with determination and general enjoyment of racing. Gary Nicholson in his first year of enduro riding was delighted to take the win. He held a clear one lap advantage over Patrick Haith with the ever improving Mark Cockfield taking a well deserved and calculated final podium place. Spare a thought for Derbyshire’s answer to Rambo… Darren Bailey decided to do some branch trimming of his own whilst walking the course on Saturday, after borrowing a hand saw and slipping, the end result saw him in A&E and having to ride with 4 stitches in his thumb on Sunday! Well done Daz you crazy fool!

After a short break for the morning Presentation, and a few track repairs we headed into the afternoon event. George England has now established himself as a Clubman front runner, the lad from Scarborough delivered a great class win ahead of Mick Boam, the pair were battling all race and were separated by seconds at the flag! Chris Hughes made the long journey from Lancashire worthwhile by grabbing the Expert class win finishing one lap up on the other Expert riders, in fact only Hughes and Elite rider Scott Austin finished on 24 laps. Austin was flagged away from the start dead last and was held back for over two minutes before Wayne Braybrook would let him start. Austin out testing the new Factory Replica Sherco used the event to hone some techniques ahead of the summer wave of events coming up. Alex Owen had a ding dong battle with ROR Sherco rider Rob Dawson, the pair rode within seconds most of the race keeping each other honest, with Dawson needing a splash of fuel this lifted the pressure off Owen in the closing stages. Thanks also to Rob Dawson who stopped on his penultimate lap during his battle with Owen to check that another injured rider wasn’t seriously hurt.

Well done to all that competed in the days events, and a big thank you to all Marshals and helpers who travelled all the way out to this great venue. The Doodson battle resumes on June 23rd at the great Lee Dell Complex where the Lancashire hills will be anticipating the next battle in the Championship.

Butts Quarry Scorcher Sorts the Men from the Boys!!
Report: ROR Media Images: CH-Images

RideoffroadUK took Round two of the Putoline 4 Hour Hound & Hound Championship to Butts Quarry for what turned out to be a scorcher of a day. With no rain over the whole weekend, track conditions were perfect thanks to heavy rain on Friday before the event - this kept the dust at bay during the 4 hour marathon event.

An average Youth class entry endured a two hour event, the Youth A class was won by Josh Bailey on his 125 KTM with a clear 3 minute lead, over Tommy Grimmer on his 85cc KTM. Danny Culkin was the final podium sitter just holding onto third place at the finish flag. Josh Haith took his Haith Motorsport supported machine to a fine Youth B win, he was followed home by Mansfield Motorcycles Dawson Marriott and Hare & Hounds newcomer Thomas Widd taking the third place trophy home.

Shortly after 11am and after the pre event safety briefing a packed start area was ready for the off. A Le Mans style start saw riders start in classes having to run 10 metres before leaping onto their machines. Solo 4 hour riders were to have a tough time in the searing heat, riders had to pit for extra fluids and the ROR shop reported record sales of SIS Energy products! George England overcame a non-scheduled pit stop to replace a broken lever to take the Clubman class victory ahead of David Haith, both riders clocked up an impressive 30 lap tally. Doltan Shannon, out on his new Sherco Factory Replica, overcame dehydration to hold on and take a fine Sportsman Class win. Doltans desire to succeed was clear to see as the gritty lad refused to give in despite cramp in the closing stages. Paul Daley Smith completed his Erzberg training by chasing Shannon home for a fine runner up position. Local MX ace Danny Morse was the clear winner in the Pro/Expert class, he was kept on his toes by Road Race and Supermoto hotshot Sam Warren, Sam has turned his efforts to enduro in 2013 and is doing a mighty fine job of it. ROR Sherco team rider Rob Dawson had an “off day” after a week trail riding in Spain, the lad from North Yorkshire had his energy tank run dry at the 3.5 hour mark but he still hung onto a third place finish.

The most popular classes within the Putoline 4 Hour series is the Team relay class, the freedom to do one hour then have a break while team mates do their stint seems to be the preferred option for the non sadistic enduro fans. MRS/ROR Sherco mounted Scott Austin and Anthony Tempest took a fine win in the Pro/Expert team class ahead of ex trials men John Steeples and Mick Boam. Austin had a test ride on Wayne Braybrooks 250 Sherco, judging by the whips on the jumps Austin had a great day on the smaller capacity, light weight thumper. Established racers Andy Pulfrey and Lee Parry topped the Sportsman Team class, finishing a lap up on trials converts Steve Shaw and Rob Bunting who were delighted with their final position. Beginner class honours went to the North East with Lee Broadwith and Gary Nicholson almost missing the presentation having not expecting to do so well! Marc Vardy and Ben Clarke grabbed second spot with Darren Bailey and George Willingham justifying sore bodies by netting the final podium place. “The Machine” that is David Salkeld held a one lap Vets class advantage over Justin carter who is still returning to race fitness after a niggling shoulder injury.

Doodson Championship Round 3
Carlton Grange
Report: ROR Media Images: http://www.ch-images.co.uk

Round 3 of the Doodson Motorsport Insurance backed Championship had a last minute change of venue for round 3. Following a week of track preparation, a much wider more flowing track was on offer for competitors to do battle on the fringes of the North Yorkshire moors.

A superb Youth line up was eager to get underway at 8.30am sharp. Youth A rider Brandon Sharples grabbed the holeshot, Brandon who has had some convincing wins already in the 2013 Championship had to work really hard to fend off Tom Rial and Josh Bailey, the latter two riders on 125cc machines whilst Sharples has stuck with his D3 KTM 85 Big Wheel. Josh Haith and Dawson Marriott had a race long battle for Youth B honours, the pair rode within metres of each other until the final lap where a small mistake from Marriott handed the win to Haith. Both these young men are riding very well and the battle is set to be good to watch at rounds 4&5 in May.

The 2013 Championship is, after only 3 events, shaping up to be a cracker, the Sportsman and Beginners class are almost the most competitive now, over 25 riders in the Sportsman class finished on 13 laps, so it’s down to seconds not minutes for overall honours. RideoffroadUK Clerk of the Course, Wayne Braybrook, had taken on board valuable feedback from riders and is now plotting courses which are allowing more competition and race craft rather than survival. After the Youth event was concluded, the track conditions were near perfect, nice soft berms had developed, and the dry weather meant for those riders who were smart that line options were available when passing slower riders. Ryan Gee took a slender Sportsman win from new ROR rider Ben Brierley. Trials convert Rob Bunting had a great weekend finishing in third place with Youth upgrade Dalton Shannon adding to his points tally with a solid 4th place. In the Beginner class Gary Nicholson had another great win, first to seventh place all finishing on 12 laps means another Championship class which could go any way as the season reaches the half way point in May at Lee Dell.

With the morning event concluded, a small but high class field of Pro Elite, Expert, Over40 and Clubman riders were flagged away. MRS Sherco rider Scott Austin fresh from his British Sprint Enduro debut led around the first lap with Zac Sherwin hot on his heels. Austin who was suffering from a virus could not hold Sherwin at bay with poor energy levels. Sherwin took a great win with Austin limping around for second place in the Elite class. The Expert class battle went down to the wire with ROR Sherco rider Rob Dawson taking his 2.5i Sherco to a narrow winning margin from Lancashire lad Damian Butler. Damo, who is clearly enjoying his riding, improves each week as he aims to better himself in 2013. Anthony Tempest took his Sprayzone Sherco 3.0i to a great final podium place despite not being as bike fit as he would like due to a busy workload. Clubman honours went to the upgraded for 2013 Daniel Hurd, despite suffering with a whacking great blister on his hand the gritty lad ground out a superb win from George England out on his new 300 KTM. Finding his feet in enduro competition is trials convert Dan Farrer, Dan is keen to progress and like all ex trials riders has the skill set to go with it. ROR regular Matty North had to work hard on the final lap as David Haith was nudging his back wheel on the final lap. The pair shook hands at the flag after a great race.

A big thanks to all the hard working marshals again, without you we couldn’t run these events.

RideoffroadUK are filling the gap between races with another BED day on April 28th at Driffield Training area in East Yorkshire. Unlimited Enduro Practice from 10am to 3.30pm, with all the RideoffroadUK team riders on hand to offer help and advice to all riders who attend.

Putoline 4 Hour Enduro Series Round 1
Driffield East Yorkshire
Report: ROR Media

Amidst Siberian weather conditions across most of the UK, remarkably Driffield in East Yorkshire seemed like the only place that completely escaped the snowy conditions! A brand new and exciting course plotted by the ROR track crew was laid on to give Driffield a completely new and much needed facelift. Riders came from as far away as mid Wales just to get a snow free ride, although the temperature was around freezing with the extra wind chill factor, the track rode perfectly, berming up in places to what most MX riders would have been happy with.

The first event of the day was for Youth riders in a two hour long event. Dawson Marriott took his Mansfield Motorcycles KTM to a one lap win in Youth B in front of Josh Haith, with Reece Pickersgill grabbing a solid third place. Super quick Tommy Grimmer won the Youth A class after runaway leader Brandon Sharples D3 KTM lost all drive with 28 minutes to go. Sean Lightbody took home a great second spot with Sarah Thomas landing the final podium place.

The Putoline sponsored 4 Hour Adult Ironman event was packed with talent across all classes. In the Pro/Expert class top MX riders Jordon Rose and Ryan Voase were tipped for top honours in their relevant teams.

The great spectacle with these team events is when a team is made up of one super quick and one quick rider. This is awesome to watch from the sidelines as advantages can be gained and lost over the period of time out on track.

Ryan Voase grabbed an almost “jumped start” holeshot to stretch the field around lap one, with Josh Law riding with Jordan Rose, Jordan could only watch from the changeover area as Voase stretched out a healthy lead. Around the hour mark teams opted to change over in the Tag zone. Scott Austin teamed up with Anthony Tempest to make the first all Sherco team, with ROR riders Rob Dawson and Welshman Gary Jenkins running the second all Sherco team on number 27. Austin was the only rider who could keep Voase and Jordon Rose in his sights, although Rose, recovering from a broken shoulder, was visibly quicker on the day. At the flag Jordon Rose and Josh Law took a solid win from the hard charging Scott Austin and Anthony Tempest. In the closing stages Rob Dawson and Gary Jenkins held on to third place.

Solo 4 hour riders were always the brave one’s, George England had a 4 hour long battle with ROR regular David Haith. In the end England held a two and a half minute advantage to the finish. Solo Vets class rider Martyn Thomas was in second place behind is riding buddy Steven Dean for over 3 and a half hours…when Deans energy tank ran dry, Thomas seized the chance to put the hurt to his mate by holding a two minute advantage to the finish flag. Steven Dean was delighted to get his first ROR podium place. Doltan Shannon continued his run of good form in the adult ranks by winning the Solo Sportsman class; Phil Dodsworth and Benn Hall were the only other riders to complete 25 laps on the day. The Sportsman team duo of Shane Marriott and Mark Vardy ground out a great win finishing one lap up on Patrick Haith and Ian Sigley. ROR regulars Steve Shaw and Rob Bunting took the 666 team to a well earned third place. In the brave Beginner class solo rider Chris Gowland completed 24 laps in the four hour event; Lancastrian Matt Mills finished a credible second place with James Cooke-Thomas happy to see the chequered flag in third place. Jonathan Howard and his team mate Josh Bielby took overall honours in the 2 man Beginner class, just over one minute separated them from second place duo of Andrew Brooke and Daniel Coucom.

In light of the weather conditions RideoffroadUK ran the event even when rider’s attendance was unconfirmed due to the adverse weather. Many thanks to all our marshals for helping out all weekend.

Next event:
Doodson Round 2 - April 14th - followed by the second BED day of the year on April 28th

Norwood really does have mormud
Round 2 March 17th
Report: ROR Media Images: CH Images

Round 2 of the Doodson Motorsport Insurance backed Enduro Hare & Hounds Championship was held at a very wet and muddy Norwood near Teversal in Nottinghamshire. Norwood was always going to be a do or die event for most riders, the infamous mud at Norwood is the same as nowhere else on the planet, its almost grease like qualities mean that wet races there are super tough, whilst dry events are a shear joy to ride around the picturesque Nottinghamshire woodland.

Another superb line up of Youth riders were first on track Sunday morning to ride a slightly shortened race of one hour fifteen minutes. The ROR Youth riders always get on with the job in hand and are the future talent of the club shining through. Hotshot Youth A rider Brandon Sharples proved his wet weather riding is up to scratch by putting 2 laps on the entire field. Reece Pickersgill won the Youth B on his Wadsworth Kawasaki ahead of Josh Haith and Mansfield M/Cs Dawson Marriott both mounted on KTM’s.

The first Adult race of the day saw a packed start line of eager competitors ready to do battle. As riders took on the pre event briefing from clerk of the course Wayne Braybrook, it was clear to see that a slower more methodical approach to this difficult event was the way to success. And success it was in the Beginners class for Lee Mackay who had a strong ride to take the win. The ever improving Joe Shaw netted a strong second place, and Rob Carr was the only other rider completing 5 laps. MRS Sherco rider Nieve Holmes took her 2.5i to a superb Ladies class win with a lap tally which would have seen her top 15 in the Sportsman class. Not bad for a 14 year old lass!

It was glee for the Gee family when Ryan Gee took his mint Honda to a well deserved win. Ryan who pushed hard all race got his just reward. Lawrence Wright took home the second place trophy with Benn Hall taking his CRFX to a hard fought third place. Over50 fast man on the day was John Brindley, John grabbed the extra lap before the flag went out to beat local ace Steve Shaw. Paul Hill got his first ever ROR championship trophy despite admitting after the race to having a short rest in the woods after his second lap.

After a short break for track repairs, lunch, and morning events trophy presentation, the faster more experienced riders were lined up in the worst conditions of the day.

With snow and rain battering the UK for a short period, track conditions were more like an extreme event. First back through lap scoring was ROR Elite rider Scott Austin ahead of British Enduro regular Luke Lusher. With a depth of very similar talent in the Expert class this was always going to be a close battle. MX rider Sean Eckersley also arrived to spice things up with the regular Experts in only his second enduro. Ex trials now enduro fan Mick Boam was head and shoulders above his rivals in the Clubman class with the exception of Yorkshireman Matt North who pushed really hard to get one of his best results to date finishing second. Matt loves his riding and is now training hard and realising his own potential as a race winner in class. Michael Kay was sad to see the finish flag in third place as he still had energy in the tank for more laps.

Expert rider Rob Dawson took his MRS Sherco to a fine second win of the season despite being pushed hard by Treads tyre bay spannerman Damian Butler. If Damo could loose the arm pump he would be a happy man!. Vets winner Anthony Ayrton took an easy win ahead of fellow Lancastrian Ian Heyworth.

Big thanks to Sutton Falcons and Steve Shaw for the use of Norwood, well done to all competitors, and an extra special thanks to the hard grafting ROR marshals on the day, you all know who you are.

Doodson Motorsport
Championship
Round 1 Dawson Storms Ellington Banks opening round
Report: ROR Media Images: CH Images

RideoffroadUK opened their 2013 Doodson Motorsport Championship on Sunday, with a course prepared that surprised all riders by being not only well thought out, but superbly flowing and enjoyable to ride. After a six week lay-off from events due largely to adverse weather, the ROR crew were more than ready to resume its busy events schedule.

First race of the day was the very well supported Youth race. As the riders were flagged away Brandon Sharples took the holeshot up on to one of the many established tracks around the MOD training area. Sharples was tearing away from his rivals when disaster struck as his silencer fell off his D3 SHR KTM. Cable ties and duct tape held it back on so he could romp on to take a one lap advantage from Tom Rial in second spot. Lancastrian Ronnie Hill had a good start to the Championship grabbing a hard fought third place. Youth B victory went to the on form Josh Haith, Reece Pickersgill survived a high speed fire road crash to take his Wadsworth Kawasaki to a well earned second ahead of Richard Moorhouse.

A packed start area saw Sportsman, Beginner, Over 50’s and Ladies class riders ready to attack a now drying track. Dalton Shannon showed his adult rivals that his upgrade from Youth to Adult is just about on time; he led the field around the first lap and continued to set a fast but safe pace. Super strong Oliver Allbones worked his way around the track gaining places eventually taking the win from Shannon. Sam Bryan finished in third place ahead of 2012 Beginner top runner Jade Shaw. New ROR club member Lee Mackay took a superb Beginner class win, Lee’s 14 lap tally sees him leading the Championship after round one. James Senior took his 806 machine to a credible second spot ahead of Queensbury Kitchens Co director Ian Foster. Ian was surprised at the presentation as he took his first ROR podium place. Over 50 honours went to John Brindley; John who is returning to competitive riding after last season’s injury has his sights set on the 2013 title. Steve Shaw took his Gas Gas to a safe opening race ahead of MX enthusiast Jeff Harrison in third place.

After a short break for morning event results and presentation it was the turn of the fast men on track at 1.30pm. A two and a half hour race saw “new for 2013” Pro/Elite class. From the start Harry Hillas grabbed the holeshot ahead of MRS Sherco team mates Scott Austin and Welshman Gary Jenkins; though Jenkins set the pace on lap one leading the Elite riders around. As Austin pitted for fuel, Hillas took the lead until he pitted one lap later. Scott Austin took his Sherco 3.0i to a good win almost two minutes up on Hillas. Zac Sherwin took a well earned third place after recovering from injury. Local lad Rob Dawson had the race of his life on his 2013 2.5i Sherco; Rob, who is totally committed to his racing, showed everyone that his constant winter training has paid off, he couldn’t be challenged on the day taking the Expert win, finishing just under a minute ahead of Alex Owen. Damian Butler kept both front runners honest on his Treads KTM in third. This year’s Clubman class seems like a class for ex trials riders! Mick Boam earned a great first Clubman win ahead of Sam Ludgate with Steve Hind finishing in third ahead of local lad Danny Gamble. Anthony Ayrton was best Over 40 with Sherco runner Julian Holmes aching his way round for a fine second spot ahead of Chris Ball. Well done to the Ladies too!

A superb start to the 2013 Championship saw a fantastic entry pledging support for the North’s premier Hare & Hounds Enduro Championship, many thanks to all marshals and staff for their continued help and support. Results and all other info on the website www.rideoffroaduk.co.uk

RideoffroadUK 2013 season
A massive 19 venues available.

RideoffroadUK are pleased to release details of the 2013 season's event structure.

The vastly experienced club will offer a ten round Doodson UK National Hare & Hounds Championship starting on February 17th based in the North of England. This Championship now established as the highest quality in the North of England, will see new features and challenges introduced into events as the season progresses.

There will be a new and exciting 5 round Putoline 4 hour Enduro series, this has two main classes, 4 hour Solo Ironman and a two man team relay class for the not so brave. These events are run at venues with non weather dependant paddocks, and courses that will hold up even in wet conditions.

The clubs Enduro Training Academy will once again be operating the day prior to most event date's, this gives a select 10 lucky riders a chance to train on a structured enduro coaching session with Wayne Braybrook heading the tuition. He is joined by guest instructors who assist him with "how to" demonstrations and easy riding techniques which riders can put to use the following day during the event.

Finally the ROR club will be venturing into the enduro practice day market. This is where the biggest changes will come, with over 19 venues on our books, we will test and record feedback from riders at practice venues before introducing new venues into Championship events. Plus the rideoffroaduk team riders will be on hand throughout these practise days to promote the Sherco Enduro bikes. We will have demo bikes available on these practise days.
