Grand Prix of France - Brioude
June 13th, 14th & 15th The 2014 Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship headed to Brioude for the
final round of an action packed season. Brioude is a charming town on the
banks of the River Allier - a tributary of the Loire - in the Auvergne
region of south-central France - 50 kilometres south of Clermont Ferrand.
Set on hill, it is dominated by the Basilica of St. Julien. Built in the
11th century, it's cool interior is decorated with exceptional frescoes. The
town is twinned with Cardigan in Wales and the cafe in the square is named
after the home of Welsh knitwear. On Friday evening almost 7,000 spectators
- the population of the town - gathered to support the 110 riders on the
Supertest beneath a starry sky that would have inspired Van Gogh. Details

My Serres Rally 2014
A report by George
Dennison. Picture by Dimosthenis Papadopoulous I hadn't taken part in a rally since March 2013, so I was a bit
rusty. On top of that I had sold my old faithful 2007 CRF450X to Davy
Patterson. This meant I was going to be out on a new bike. As usual we had
planned to have the bike built, ready, tested in the Uk before we took it
anywhere near a rally. We all know how that ended up. I'm sitting at the
start of the short prologue on a new bike which has moved about 5kms. Not
smart. The bike looks fantastic and has been prepared by Martin Wittering of
Torque Racing. I know it is going to be ok. Details
