Meo, Sanz & McCanney secure World titles The final round of the 2015 Enduro
World Championship was hosted by Requista in France. The half mile Friday night Super Test prologue threw up few surprises. Alex
Salvini won the E2 class with the fastest overall time. Tom Sagar was 10th.
Christophe Nambotin led E1 and Danny McCanney was 5th. Matthias Bellino topped
E3 and took the overall from Salvini. Alessandro Battig was the quickest of the Juniors ahead of Max Val. Steve
Holcombe was 5th, Jamie McCanney 8th and Josh Gotts 13th. Mikael Persson was
the best of the Youth class. Jack Edmondson was 5th. The final round includes
a Women's class. Laia Sanz won ahead of Jane Daniels. Day 1 By the end of the
first lap Steve Holcombe had worked his way up from 5th to lead the
Juniors. Tom Sagar also made good progress from 10th to 7th in E2. By the end
of the 2nd lap the class leaders had all changed. Nambotin, Salvini and
Bellino
had all yielded to Remes, Meo and Matthews. Steve Holcombe maintained his lead
in the Juniors. Jamie McCanney finished 4th and secured the Championship.
Antoine Meo - runner up to Alex Salvini - secured the E2 Championship.
Matthias Bellino won the E3 Championship with a 2nd behind Matthew
Phillips. Jack Edmondson harvested another podium finish in the Youth
