DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his run to the 2015 GNCC XC2 Pro Championship, with a great 1st place finish at Round 10 of the GNCC series, held over the weekend in New York.

Thomas impressed all by moving into the lead early on the first lap and then continued to hold the lead all the way to the finish with another dominant display of riding. “Well, that was a great race out there and I’m so stoked to take the win in the first race after the summer break. I took it easy in the mid part of the race but then put in a few solid laps at the end which let me rip back into the lead and take victory!!!”

Thomas now has a healthy 76 point lead in the Championship standings.

Meanwhile, fellow DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM team rider Drew Higgins was also victorious over the weekend at Round 4 of the TORN offroad series in Texas.

OMA Nationals Rd. 7

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his awesome 2015 race season with a great 1st place finish at Round 7 of the OMA Nationals series, held over the weekend in Iowa.

Thomas impressed all by steadily moving forward all race long following a few mistakes incurred early in the race that dropped him out of the lead position. "Well, that was a great race out there and I'm so stoked to get this win and carry all the momentum into the GNCC race this coming weekend. I made a few mistakes in the mid part of the race but then redeemed myself with a few solid laps at the end which let me rip back into the lead and take victory!!!

GNCC Rd. 8

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his run to the 2015 GNCC XC2 Pro Championship, with a solid 2nd place finish at Round 8 of the GNCC series, held over the weekend in Ohio.

Thomas impressed all by steadily moving forward all race long following a few mistakes incurred early in the race that dropped him behind the lead riders. "Any day that you finish 2nd after coming back from the things I had to contend with is a good day - it's the type of day that wins Championships! After the problems at the beginning of the race my lap times were consistently faster than those of the lead riders but unfortunately I just ran out of laps to catch all the way back up and take the victory, falling short by about 20 seconds. I'm definitely happy with this result especially considering that this wasn't one of my preferred tracks to race at, but the next race at Snowshoe is my favourite track of the year so I can't wait to get ripping there!"

Thomas now has a healthy 52 point lead in the Championship standings.

Meanwhile, fellow DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team member Drew Higgins scored victory at Round 1 of the Texas Offroad Nationals series with a commanding performance. This result puts Higgins in top form to score an excellent result in the Expert/AA class at this weekend's upcoming round of the National Enduro series in Wyoming.

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his run to the 2015 GNCC XC2 Pro Championship, with a solid 4th place finish at Round 7 of the GNCC series, held over the weekend in West Virginia.

Thomas impressed all by easily running up front for the majority of the race before the rear mousse tube failed, resulting in the rear tyre popping off the rim. Luckily this happened close to the pit area which allowed Thomas to limp back to the pit for an unscheduled wheel change and then to rejoin the race. "What a great race it was today! These nasty conditions really suited me as it's exactly the type of riding I did when I was growing up. But the day didn't go entirely smoothly for mhawkish the mousse issue - that's the second tim ethics year it has happened. But we were able to salvage the situation quite well and still finish. I'm disappointed because the victory was mine to take, but to endure this major issue and to still leave the track with an increased points lead in the Championship is a big bonus.

Thomas now has a healthy 40 point lead in the Championship standings.

GNCC Rd. 6

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his great start to the 2015 race season, with a triumphant 1st place finish at Round 6 of the GNCC series, held over the weekend in New York.

Aiming for another strong run at the XC2 Championship in 2015, Thomas impressed all by running up front for the first part of the race before putting the hammer down from there to score an easy 1.5 minute victory. "What a great race it was today! These nasty conditions really suited me as it's exactly the type of riding I did when I was growing up. But the day didn't go entirely smooth for me as I made a total rookie mistake before the race and put an aftermarket reed block in my bike and didn't bother to test it extensively - well, doing that made the bike act really rich with the jetting and run like crap as everyone at the race could hear so I want to apologize to my team for the additional unnecessary stress this caused. I should have known better after all of these years of racing to do that, but anyhow out on the track I was still able to gap everyone quite easily for a few laps in the middle of the race, and then from there I just cruised the last few laps and brought it home for another victory!".

Thomas now has a healthy 37 point lead in the Championship standings.

GNCC Rd5

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his great start to the 2015 race season, with a triumphant 1st place finish at Round 5 of the GNCC series, held over the weekend in Indiana.

Aiming for another strong run at the XC2 Championship in 2015, Thomas impressed all by running up front for the first half of the race before putting the hammer down from there to score an easy 3 minute victory. "What a great race it was today! These nasty conditions really suited me as it's exactly the type of riding I did when I was growing up. I crashed off the start, then quickly came through the pack to the lead group by the end of the first lap so I knew right then that I had all of these other guys covered today. I just hung out with the lead group for a few laps and when they all started making mistakes I just picked my pace up and gapped everyone quite easily for a few laps. From there I just cruised the last few laps and brought it home for another victory!".

Thomas now has a healthy 24 point lead in the Championship standings.

DIRTWISE/MAXXIS/KLIM Race team continues win streak

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his great start to the 2015 race season, with a triumphant 1st place finish at Round 4 of the MidEast Hare Scramble series, held over the weekend in North Carolina.

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM team rider Drew Higgins, following consecutive 2nd places at the first rounds, scored a dominant victory in the Expert/AA class at Rd. 4 of the National Enduro series. That was such a fun race, and I'm so happy I'm able to represent my sponsors with the excellent results I've achieved so far this year."

Meanwhile, DirtWise supported racer Daniel "Chucky" Sanders had a huge weekend with career best results in the Australian Offroad Championship, where he racked up great 2nd and 4th Overall placings for Rounds 3 & 4. Fellow DirtWise supported racer, Jesse Ansley, also has had an excellent start to the 2015 race season by carded several Youth Overall victories and placings in the GNCC series.

"I wasn't feeling good during the week so I'm surprised I was able to win this race. I'll be all ready to go rip it at Round 4 of the GNCCs in South Carolina now!".

MidEast Hare Scramble Rd. 2

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his great start to the 2015 race season, with a triumphant 1st place finish at Round 2 of the !idEast series, which was conducted this weekend in South Carolina.

Conducted in perfect conditions, Thomas went on a tear and easily took the victory in front of 16 other Pro riders. "What a blast today was! I was riding really good which positions me well leading into the next GNCC that will have similar trails and conditions. Capping off the weekend was that I got to conduct a one day DirtWise school the previous day for a group of eager students - I love being able to help out other riders as they strive to become the best they can!".

2015 GNCC Rd. 2

DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his great start to the 2015 race season, with a triumphant 1st place finish at Round 2 of the GNCC series, which started last weekend in Georgia.

Aiming for another strong run at the XC2 Championship in 2015, Thomas has impressed all by running up front for the majority of the race before putting the hammer down on the last lap to score victory. "I'm easing my way into the 2015 Championship, and building to a higher level at each race. I know how to win a Championship so I'm right in track at the moment!"
