Another podium finish for Lee Sealey

This weekend was the British Sprint Enduro Championship Round 3/4 at Saints Wells. Walking the track on friday i knew i was gonna like the track as it was wet and slippery.

Saturday i had a good start and was 4 seconds off 2nd but as the day went on the track started to dry out and the bigger bikes started to get that more grip than the 125 and were pulling quite big gaps on me towards the end of the day, at the end i was 3rd with a comfortable lead over 4th.

Sunday the track reversed and the overnight rain made the track really wet and sticky, which i loved. Again i started in 3rd about 4 seconds behind 2nd, but after that lap the track started to dry up again and i started to lose time to the top 2. At the end of the day i finished 3rd again with a very comfortable gap between 4th but i need to be closer to the top 2 in the future. I got 3rd overall for the weekend and i am very pleased with how i rode.

I would like to thank Midwest Husqvarna for all of there help over the weekend cleaning the bike ready for each lap, especially my dad. Also like to thank Ellie Evans for the photo

Podium finish At Tough One

This weekend was the Tough One and after me not finishing last year, i was just hoping to finish this year.

I started off not to good was round middle of the pack around the first couple of corners, but i managed to move up the pack as we got further round the first lap, i was riding round 4/5th for about 2 hours where i started to then get cramp, but i rode through it and managed to finish with a 2nd.

Im really happy with how i rode and would like to thank midwest racing for the support, Steve Ireland and WOR Events for putting on yet another top event and Bob Mullins for the photo.

Rounds 1/2 of the British Sprint Enduro Championship
22/23rd March

This weekend was the British Sprint Enduro Championship and I moved up into the Under 19 class, so there was tougher competition and we were all alot tighter.

Saturday i had a steady start and was 3rd from first couple of laps at the half way point through the day i changed my back tyre to more of a motocross tyre and found my time got faster as the enduro tyre was just not getting enough grip in the ruts and sand. At the end of the day i ended up 3rd.

Sunday was challenging with all the different weather changes the course changed every lap, the first couple of laps were nice and dry and i got myself into a steady 3rd again, but then when the rain came in the field got really slick and a off in them meant that 4th closed up to me. But the track dried back out and i got myself a gap between 4th and 5th who were only 2 seconds apart. At the end of the day i got another 3rd which meant i got 3rd overall for the weekend which really happy with.

I would like to thank Garry Barnes for the photo, a big thanks to Midwest Husqvarna for the help over the weekend and i would like to thank amped for the best gloves ive had so far in my racing career.

Lee Sealey @ the British Enduro Championship Rd1/2
Tetbury near Gloucester.
8/9th March

This weekend was the opening round of the British Enduro Championship and I moved up to the expert class after winning clubman last year. I knew it was going to be a lot harder and I would have to put twice as much effort in.

Day 1 I was very surprised how quickly I got used to the new bike as I hadn't ridden it before the event, I was very consistent and managed to get a 2nd overall and 1st in E1 2 stroke.

Day 2 didn't start too well for me as I was pushing too hard on the first test. I made too many mistakes and lost 20 seconds on the top boys. After that I knew it was going to be hard to get that back but I pushed on and gained a few places to finish 4th overall and 1st in e1 2 stroke again.

I am really happy how the weekend went and i am looking forward to this year.

I would like to thank Simon and Graham, Midwest Husqvarna, mum and dad, and enduronews for the photograph. Cheers Lee.
