RAW Enduro Round 9

Raw Enduro chose the new look Butts Quarry to host the final Hare &
Hounds championship event of 2015. With a few class wins already decided,
the tension was full on for the class titles which were still up for grabs.
Heavy rain early on in the week meant track conditions were a bit sticky for
the early morning youth event. As the sun broke through a light breeze had
the course in almost perfect condition for the first of two adult events.
After a long season Thomas Widd had his final youth outing on his KTM and
true to form took the youth A win and championship overall. Harry Conner
finished runner up and Dom Richardson did an amazing job to hang onto third
after his Husky rear brake rod came loose and fell off. Toby Flack had a
great race to take the Youth B, with Finn Pearce taking runner up and Ben
Wood rounding out his season in a fine third place Details

THE TOUGH ONE'S LITTLE BROTHER EXTREME ENDURO
11th OCTOBER 2015
NANTMAWR QUARRY.
TOUGH AT THE TOLB Report by Keith Williams. "The Tough Ones little brother extreme enduro just got a
little bit tougher last weekend as the Promoters and Organisers, WOR Events,
provided a couple of superb races for all the riders throughout all the
classes at the World famous home of the Tough One Enduro at Nantmawr Quarry in
Shropshire.
The track was challenging, technical and demanding but more importantly it was
ride able, achievable and enjoyable, the key ingredients for a proper Extreme
Enduro and something that Steve Ireland and his WOR Team have perfected over
the years having gained unrivalled experience in this format of Hard Enduro
events.

WATSON BROTHERS GO 1-2 AT WESTON BEACH RACE
The 33rd edition of the RHL Weston Beach Race adult solo race was a
thriller from start to finish as the Watson brothers Nathan and Ben came to
spoil the party in front of a bumper crowd at Weston Super Mare with a 1-2
finish, while Jamie McCanney took a hard fought third place.
Last year’s winner and race favourite Shaun Simpson made a phenomenal
start, but suffered a technical problem early on, and was believed to be out
of the race, as was David Knight who limped into the pits after two laps.
Simpson remounted after frantic work was done on his KTM machine, and the
Scottish-ace put on a valiant effort from around 400th place, five laps down,
to finish in 36th position. Details
