Weston winner Nathan Watson (Husqvarna) took an early lead in 60mph winds from Steve Ramon until
Watson crashed on the 2nd lap and Belgium's Axel van de Sande moved to the
head of the leader board. Riding a big tank Yamaha, Van de Sande's
compulsory pit stop was a formality and to confirm the win he posted an
extra lap. The runner up was Nathan Watson
Camille Chapeliere was 3rd, BMX champion Lars van Berkal 4th. Daymond
Martens 5th. Bas Verhoeven 6th Steve Ramon 7th and Matt Moffat 8th. Jamie
McCanney won his qualifying heat but he retired with a mechanical problems in the semi-finals

Jeremy Joly makes a good recovery France's Jeremy Joly recently began to feel pain and heaviness in his feet and
after tests he found that the arteries supplying blood to his legs were narrowed
by 70%! After 2 operations, one on the left leg and another on the right, Jeremy
is out of the hospital and looking forward to the 2016 season.

Illegal Riding Thetford Forest - The Police will
prosecute
Following the recent Muntjac British Championship Enduro in Thetford
Forest, the Forestry Commission has caught a number of illegal riders.
Some of these riders are from outside of the Eastern Centre. The police
have been provided with details of names and vehicles and have emphasised
that they will make full use of all powers available to them. This
includes the possibility of vehicles being seized and riders prosecuted
for any offences. The police has also been provided with details of
information on Facebook actively promoting illegal riding in the area.
The ACU has also previously made the situation clear that any member
caught will, under the ACU National Sporting Code, have their licence
suspended. In summary, if riders, whether licensed or not, continue to
illegally ride in Thetford Forest, the likelihood of future events being
held will be seriously reduced.

The start of the 2015 Roof of Africa is less than a
week away and the hot and dry conditions experienced in the Mountain
Kingdom, over the past few months have not relented. A brief thunderstorm
last week was enough to keep the pundit’s guessing, however event
organizer, Peter Luck of Extreme Off Road Promotions, isn’t expecting any
