The long Easter weekend gave plenty of opportunity to travel to
Hawkstone Park for Paul Edmondson's annual Fast Eddy Original event and riders
seized the chance in no uncertain terms. Details

Knighter wins Honda home ground
SMCC Isle of Man Centre Enduro Round 2 the Western Enduro took place
on Easter Monday 28th March. In place of the usual charity event at Ronague the
club has shuffled the calendar and ran a traditional timecard event instead. Details

 Drovers
The Welsh Trail Riders Association hosted their Drovers Enduro in the Halfway
forest near Llandovery on Easter Sunday 27th March. This annual homage to the hard
men of Wales - who moved herds of sheep around the country in all weathers - attracted a
full entry. An old school course soon separated the rams
from the ewes while rain and hail blew in on an icy wind. Brad Williams was the overall winner ahead of Roger Holland
and Shaun Buchan. Carl Tiley was the best Expert Vet, Paul Davies was runner
up and William Jones was 3rd. 4 Clubmen were clean - on time at least. Jared
Stanfield was the quickest. Luke Thomas was 2nd, Tom James 3rd and Robert
Mackenzie 4th. Scott Hoskins was unlucky to loose a minute which dropped him
to 5th. Leighton Roberts won the Clubman Veteran class. Stuart Bridges was
runner up and Robert Murfin was 3rd. The best Sportsman was
Herman Ostronznik. He lost 28 minutes. There was a 50% retirement rate
across the board but everyone got a cream egg. Results

 A NEW TIME CARD ENDURO FORMAT EVENT FROM
WOR

Short Course Enduro is a format all of its own and has been around along
time although not many clubs run them and when WOR's chief events plotter,
Steve Ireland was at a recent ACU Clerk of the Course seminar he was taken
with the idea after having seen the section on the event in the handbook. Details

The first round of the 2016 NE-XC took place at Woodhouse on the 27th
March.
The event sold out online, with no day entries available - over 170
