Spring and the Sprint season
starts in Dorset
The opening round of the 2018 British Enduro Sprint Championship took place this weekend at Rogershill
Raceway, Dorset. The racing began at 11.00am on Saturday morning and Jack
Edmondson (Sherco) took the early lead from Danny McCanney (GasGas) and Joe
Wootton (Husq) in 3rd but Jack crashed on the 3rd lap and Danny move up to take
the first day win by 17 seconds, Jack was runner up and Joe was 3rd. Daryl Bolter (Huskysport)
was in great form and he finished 4th. Billy Bolt twisted his knee and retired.
Aaron Gordon (Sherco) was the best Expert and young Chas Chater was the quickest
Clubman. Cole Cookland was runner up and Lewis Ranger was 3rd. Alfie Webb won the Youth class and John Shirt (GasGas) was the best
Vet. Sunday was a softer day with mist and light rain. Joe Wootton made the best of
the conditions and he was the winner
ahead of Danny McCanney and Jack Edmondson. Aaron Gordon in 9th was the Best
Expert ahead of Dylan Baynton and Ricky Wiggins. All the best to Jack George who had
a nasty crash and took it like a soldier. - Report

Ben Kelley Wins Third Consecutive Race in North Carolina The 19th Annual FMF Steele Creek GNCC took place Sunday, April 8, at the
Steele Creek Park & Family Campground in Morganton, North Carolina. Rockstar
Energy/Factory Racing Husqvarna’s Thad Duvall and FMF KTM Factory Racing’s
Kailub Russell battled head-to-head for three hours of racing. Duvall would
ultimately make a last lap pass, and earn his first win of the season. Details

EVENTS SPECIAL TEST ENDURO SPRINT CHALLENGE
Well done to Neil Roberts(Husqvarna) as first place Expert and winner overall of
the event. Runner Up was Ryan Shacklady (GAS GAS) with Aled Humphreys (KTM) in
3rd place.
For a first running of this superb new format, It went down really well with all
enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the enjoyable pace and riding of the day.
