Enduro News was started in 1998 by Bob Mullins to promote
the 1999 2nd round of the FIM World Enduro Championship held in Llandovery
Enduro is the offroad motorcycle equivalent of car rallying. Riders follow a
marked course & compete over timed stages. It requires the technical
ability of Trials & the speed of Motocross. As well as the ATV
machines made by Honda, Yamaha,
Suzuki & Kawasaki there are specialists manufacturers such KTM,
BMW, Husaberg, Husqvarna, GasGas, TM, Sherco & Aprilia. The machines require
tough suspension & road legal Mx tyres. Tyre manufacturers such
as Metzeler Maxxis Michelin & Pirelli sponsor the events. There
is an aftermarket parts industry with Acerbis plastics, Renthal
handlebars. FMF exhausts, The riding gear is also specially made by suppliers such
as Sinisalo, No Fear, Thor, Scott, Oakley goggles, Fox, Alpinestar
boots, Aria, Airoh helmets.

Farms Full Gas Sprint Enduro!
With his overall victory this weekend at the Rockcrusher Full Gas Sprint Enduro
in Young Harris, Georgia, Kailub Russell became the first two-time champion of
the Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series, having also won the title in 2015.
With overall wins at six of the seven rounds held so far this year, Russell’s
performance at Rock Crusher Farm this weekend was enough to clinch the 2019
title with one round remaining on the schedule. Detais

Top fight inspired in Vellahn - Scharl extends lead The HardEnduroSeries Germany thrilled the spectators in northern
Germany for the first time this weekend. For the 3rd race of the season the
riders went to the MC Vellahn, a traditional club in Mecklenburg -
Danny McCanney wins the Hafren BEC This weekend rounds 5 and 6 of the 2019 ACU British
Enduro Championship were in the safe hands of the experienced Hafren Dirt Bike Club. The
venue was in Llanidloes Rugby Club and the first 2 riders were flagged away at
9.00am on Saturday morning. The weather was fine. The MX test was a few hundred yards from the
start and the Championship class rode the test twice. Outsiders Yamaha rider
Jamie McCanney set the fastest times and he led the field into the 40 mile Glyn Hafren
loop by 8
second. The Glyn Hafren loop and the cross country test were ridden 4 times. Danny McCanney got into
his gulley and he began to make up time in the technical wooded sections that
featured in the 2008 World Enduro Extreme test. Jamie McCanney crashed on test
5 and he struggled with pain in his hand. Danny McCanney moved into P1. Joe Wootton was runner up and Jamie McCanney was 3rd.
James Dent finished despite an elbow injury that required hospital attention.
MRS Sherco's Aaron Gordon topped the Experts ahead of Max Ditchfield and Harry Edmondson. Day 2
dawned with a rosy red sky but there was no sign of the forecast rain. Jamie
McCanney tried to start despite his obvious discomfort but he retired
after the first test; Danny McCanney completed the double
and Joe Wootton was runner up. Dan Mundell moved up into 3rd. Jack Edmondson was 4th and Daryl Bolter was 5th.
Max Ditchfield improved to take the Expert class. Aaron Gordon was runner and
Harry Edmondson was 3rd. In the Veteran classes Andrew Edwards was the best
Over 40 and Richard Hay topped the Over 50s. Results -

Colton Haaker wins the 2019 Battle of the Goats Extreme Enduro at Brushy Mountain Motorsports in Taylorsville, NC.
Max Gerston was runner up and Trystan Hart was 3d.

Freeride course includes a broad leaf woodland section. The start and parking
area is in an open grass parkland with the course running 3-4 miles
