Report Tim Tighe Photos Tilde Tighe Danny McCanney extended his lead in the 2018 ACU British Sprint Championship with a
double win at Brigstock. On Day 1 Joe Wootton was
runner up and Tom Sagar was 3rd. Aaron Gordon took the expert win ahead
Harry Edmondson and Paul Edmondson. Charlie Chaz Chater was the best
Clubman with Cole Cookland 2nd and James Palmer 3rd. Details

Mercer fundraising A Fund Raising Enduro Practice Event on
Saturday 18 August at the Tunbridge Wells Track will be for Steve
Mercer a local guy from Maidstone. An international level road
racer, Steve was getting more involved in Enduro and doing lots of
off-road riding. Unfortunately on 30th May Steve was involved in an
accident at the Isle of Man TT where he was critically injured.
Everyone involved in the Fundraising event and auction also taking
place during the day, is working for free with all money received
for the event and auction going directly to Steve and his family. Details

The second round of the G H Motorcycles/G & B Finch Aggregates Youth
Hare and Hounds race took place at Little Hadham Herts after the main
adult event. Although only an entry of six riders the Sudbury Motor
Cycle Club pressed ahead as they are keen to promote 12 – 16 year old

Photo Paula Day There were surprises and joy with unexpected winners in some
of the six Classes in round four of the G H Motorcycles / Husqvarna/ACU
Eastern Enduro Championship at Little Hadham organised by the Sudbury
Motor Cycle Club. A few days before the event it was found that the
rules allow 15 year olds to ride in short course Time Card Enduros where
the Special Test is less than 20% of the course and this allowed Jake
Roper (Sudbury below) to compete in the Clubman Class. Details

Scorcher of a day at Thorpe XC
Sam Hogg - onboard the new '18 KTM - was mixing it with the adults at Thorpe
XC yesterday, It was the first time he had ridden / raced properly since
sustaining a shoulder injury way back in January . He got a great start into a
tight wooded course & kept 3rd for 2 hours in the heat before moving up in
the last half hour to finish 2nd.

Securing a runner-up result on day one and winning the second day of racing
in Saint Agrève, Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team rider Loïc Larrieu
continues to share the lead in the provisional French Enduro 2 Championship
