Great job today by Woodbridge MCC in running the Iken Enduro. What a close finish! After four sessions of 30 minutes followed by a final session of 47 minutes, there was just 3 seconds between Luke Parker 350 Gas Gas and Jake Nicholls 350 Gas Gas. Ben Clark finished a great third place overall on a 300 Bets. GH M/C rider Ben Cole finished in 5th after getting stuck in a bog for 2 laps in the final session. The Expert class was won by James Yearley 300 Beta with Diss MCC Ross Taylor – 250 Yam having a cracking ride in 2nd place. Julian Harvey took the win in the expert vets. Ryan Osborn was best Clubman and in the Clubman Vet classes, Daniel Rose won the Over 40 class and John Hilton the Clubman Super Vet. Results

As the 2023 Eastern Centre season gets into full swing, we look back at the recent awards ceremony in Needham market and the decorated class and award winners from 2022.
With a healthy turnout there was a great crowd to acknowledge the winners and runners up across the vast range of achievements our Eastern Centre members had notched up over the year. As a region we fielded representatives in national BEC events and internationally at Romanics and the ISDE, where Will Hughes, Luke Parker and Ben Clark picked up special awards in addition to other multiple trophies across the evening demonstrating their commitment and passion for the sport. Team GB is delighted to announce that Jamie Lewis has been appointed as our new Team Manager.
Jamie, 36, from the Rhondda in South Wales made the switch from motocross to enduro in 2011 and instantly fell in love with the sport and has since gained a wealth of enduro experience in the European and World championships, as well as competing in the ISDE five times!
As well as representing his home nation Wales on two occasions, he also rode for Great Britain three times at the ISDE so has a deep understanding of what the riders needs are at this demanding event.
During the selection process Jamie was keen to highlight the great work Daryl has undertaken and expressed a strong desire to continue to build on this to ensure Team GB as a group operate as a professional organisation.
We caught up with Jamie following his appointment by the ACU Trials and Enduro Committee, "As a team we have already made good progress with organisation and securing some good sponsors for the overseas race. We have a very good group of people working behind the scenes and I'm very excited about running a successful campaign to defend the title the team won last year!"
Planning for the teams to get to Argentina is already well advanced and Team GB look forward to an exciting 2023 with Jamie at the helm.
