Chile hot start to 2015 EWC Season
SuperTest -Tacla, Chile - 17th April
An estimated crowd of 4000 spectators cheered the return of the World's best Enduro riders to Tacla, Chile on Friday 17th April. France's Antoine Meo (KTM) set a fast time early on in the E2 class ahead of Alex Salvini but the course suited the bigger bikes and E3s Mathias Bellino headed the leader board before Mathew Phillips posted the quickest time of the night. Jack Edmondson’s recent trip to the BEC in Scotland certainly left him on top form as he obliterated all opposition in the third and final race of the day last Sunday at Ashby de la Zouche.

Jacko was on it from start to finish and rode a perfect race, even Fast Eddy was impressed and it was clear to see how Jacko has improved over the past few months. Details

Although a small loop of 3.6 miles The Normandy Club made a superb loop that had a bit for everyone and will go down as a memorable event especially with the two MRS Sherco riders battling the whole 3 hours and never more than a bikes length between them sharing 1st and 2nd places but it was The Royal Engineer Tom Ellwood who just pipped Jon Hunt to the line.  Last Sunday was the second Dave Roper Memorial Trailcross / Scramble Enduro stage by the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club at Tye Farm Great Cornard. The event was split into three classes of Evo/Twinshock/Pre 65 in class one and the Enduro machines split into two separate classes with the first 20 from these two classes going through to the qualifying final and the other riders going through to the non-qualifiers final.  Kip Herring is making his change to cross country Enduro racing a real success story by stamping his authority at CTR’s Summer Series Hare & hounds championship with an emphatic win at round 1 on the 12th of April 2015 by leading from lap 1 to the end pulling an extra lap on the rest of the hard charging pack of hounds, CTR events put on a real cracker to the SSC 2015 opener at another great new venue with a fast flowing 6 mile loop with varied natural terrain of up hills blasts, fast down hills, cambers, ditches, bogs and water splashes the weather once again had its part in the drama it turn cold and although it stayed dry for most of the day the wind was a bit extreme.
